This is what I'm leaning towards as well.

I'm personally taking a liking to this pose. Not exactly it, but a slight variant of it. Without raising the shield arm too high, I'm trying to achieve a pose that sort of captures him in a pose at the moment where he's about to swing the shield up and back down.

Being that I also have Bucky and Mk 46 on PO, I ultimately want to end up recreating that final fight scene on one detolf shelf. Will have to wait awhile though with Mk 46.
I like where you're going with that. It has action but it's not necessarily museum. It's a good option for sure. I like that it shows the shield straps too. While many consider it a detraction or step back, which technologically it is, I will say the one thing is does is provide a much more visually appealing set up to look at. Admittedly the AOU Shield, while accurate, to me looks more "toyish" since it just floats there. This has life to it.

Good points. I've personally never thought the AoU shield looks toyish, but I know what you're saying about the visible straps sort of giving it life, so to speak.

As mentioned, im generally a museum to subtle action poser; I don't really like putting any potential stress on joints. Not to mention it also saves space. However, at the same time, I want to try and see if I could use the gritted teeth sculpt without having to do any crazy posing. Sort of gives variety, being that all the other Cap figure (sans the stock GA sculpt) helmeted sculpts have the same stoic expression. I feel that pose is a nice blend of the two; it has just enough "action" to it to where the gritted teeth face piece works with it, while at the same time not being anything overly dynamic. As stated, the goal being it sort of capturing the moment when he's about to raise the shield up and swing it downward.

Plastic enemies just posted this, think we might get an early release for this?

What's the normal turn around for a reveal like this for Plastic Enemies?

There isn't one. You can't even be sure it's a real tease. They just teased the spider-man two pack and wrote Friday on the teased art. Clearly that wasn't a true tease, since it's Monday and nothing came Friday. About half their teases turn out to be real or accurate, and there's no way to know what is what.

I hope we get an early release! It'll stagger my finances a bit better :lol But I can't wait to have my first Cap in hand too!

I hope so.
I've been putting off selling my AOU cap, Cause I don't want to have to wait that long for civil war cap to fill the void.

As others have stated, I'm pretty sure that Cap picture was merely posted in observance of Memorial Day. However, the figure probably isn't that far away, being that the BV has released. I don't imagine this one will be very long after. Along with Bucky.

Yeah. I really need need to go ahead and box up my AOU cap. Might do that this week.
I'm also thinking of selling Mark 43 and get Mark 46. But the wait on that is even longer. Ung.

If you're itching to sell your Mk 43 and upgrade, but the 46 is too far out, you could always sell the 43 for the 45, then sell the 45 for the 46. :lol

Both the 43 and 45 will have had each about a year tenure in your display.

That's what I'm going to do. I'll buy the 45 since that's a beautiful suit and then after a year I'll sell that and get the 46.

Yeah, the wait on the 46 is like a year and a half. Lol

ung...that's a long wait. I'm okay selling AOU cap cause I still have golden age cap, which is my personal all time favorite suit.
Still, AOU cap looks too cool in the shelf, so I keep putting off selling it. Lol.
Mark 43 is the the one that's harder to sell cause I'm at the point in my collection that I feel I have everything that are "must have" and everything else is extra.
But the mark 43 is my only ironman, so selling it would feel like there's a void in my collection.

Not really a fan of 45. Personally, I think currently, the best 1/6 ironman right now is 43.
It took a long time for me to upgrade from mark 4 to 43. So when I got my 43...I thought this is it. itll be a long time before, or if ever I'll replace it.
It didmt take long for me to consider another one. Lol.
Damn, the Mark 46 is beautiful. I only want one ironman, so I'm leaning to get 46.
I just wish the wait wasn't long.

You just made me realize I only have 2 Iron Man figures(Mk 6 and 43). I gotta buy the 45 and 46 though, I really like both of those armors.
