Sigh. Why can't this be shipping the same time as the battling one? Was the mouthpiece swap that complicated?

The battling version is a complete repaint requiring no new tooling at all. So all they had to do was sew under 2000k suits. (Probably under 1500). The standard release will be 7500ish figures (could be as much as 10,000 but that's not likely). That's a large difference in sheer volume. Throw in a complete new face plate which does require new tooling and engineering compared to the standard (not much engineering but still some) and it equals the additional time. They will have 500 to 1000 customer services stock made up for the normal release, nearly as much as the entire battling run, just to illustrate how large a difference in volume it is.

Which Bucky? The first one or the new one? He's delayed too? I didn't order him but he's one of a few i'm thinking of getting. I have a lot of sideshow points starting to stack up and I'm thinking of cashing them in maybe when the summer's over.

The CW Bucky. He's apparently been delayed until September - October. He was initially scheduled for July - September like the regular version CW Cap.

As for this ridiculousness about Cap "not having any style," sure. Whatever floats your boat. No one has any style! Its all the "style" of the movie production teams, despite the fact that many of these characters existed for decades before they had or were IN a movie. Batman: No style. Spidey: No style for you. Iron Man....? That flying jewelry-box! When his mask pops up a tiny ballerina should start twirling in front of his face. He is shiny, sparkly and boasts a contrail, but style? None whatever. Jean Grey? Brown hair is bleh. Devoid of style.

Right?

Producers thought all that stuff up. Silly you for thinking otherwise.

In fact even the Hulk has style! its low-rent, thrift-shop, dug-it-out-of-a-dumpster style, but style nonetheless. You may not like it, but its STYLE. He likes ripped purple pants!! he knows what he likes!

I now really do want an IM jewelry-box. It could have fold-out winglets or something.

Not sure how they break up the quarters, but I'm 99% certain that both CW regular Cap and Bucky stated July - September 2016 when they went up for PO. As far as I know, Cap hasn't been pushed back at all, but last Thursday I received an email stating that Bucky was pushed back to September - October.

That's the sideshow dates then right? I never go by those. It's a guess by a company that isn't making the product, whose also guessing about cargo ship times, all of which is based on a guess by the manufacturing company that doesn't even have full control over the release schedule. Lol it's best to go by hot toys release estimates. They are not always right(prime and hulkbuster for example), but they are right 90 plus percent of the time...where sideshow is right less then 25%. Partly due to the fact they don't estimate strictly in when it will arrive, but based on when people should have the funds ready.

Those are the SSC dates, yes. I don't go by them either.

Since Bucky has been pushed back, I actually hope they DON'T release together or within a few weeks of each other. That will make things much more palatable financially.

So Cap should be first, ok and actually they could let him out of his cage now. That would be nice.

This is why I recently switched to ordering everything on flex. Makes it much more feasible for me to feed my addiction.

Already have Bucky Flexed. I'd do the same for Cap, but am afraid they'll be released at or near the same time. If that happens I will just pay for Cap, and use payments for Bucky... I don't want two flex payments running at the same time. The other half would complain

Regular. Unless if you MUST have the base that comes with this one. You can also get the BD shield through a third party if you really want that.

The shield is really the one thing I prefer about the Battling figure. But I can live with the regular one.
