Exactly. You'd think they'd want this one out of the way, to make room for more intricate stuff.

Brand new sculpt, new outfit, etc. Other than maybe the body, I'm not sure what else is being recycled from TWS figure.

Same reason why regular Cap took a couple of months longer than BV Cap. BV Cap simply recycled the already existing helmeted sculpt; regular Cap included a brand new helmeted sculpt and they had to make more of them.

My guess at least.

Yeah. And it WAS on the must-see list. But real life got in the way. Sounds like just as well, since I didn't have to deal w. HT delays. More or less. It'll be Christmas with badass Bucky (probably - *meh*)

And the reviews for the new Cap HT aren't making it easier, now are they?! I mean, this really seems to be such a great figure and I can't wait to get my first real Cap in suit and all. I'm just sad coz I've preorder CW Buck and Cap as a set and now Cap will arrive first and be lonely for a few months ... ;__; I mean, he's gonna be fine, Wanda and Scotty will keep him company until Buck finally arrives, but you know how he can be. -___-
I now find myself in the position where I have preordered almost everyone from Team Cap. Yes, that sound is my wallet's ugly sobbing, please just ignore it. The only one I'm still debating about is Clint but sooner or later I'll end up preordering him too so I really don't know why I'm not just hitting the preorder button now. XD Guess I'm still trying to control myself ... hilarious.

Definitions of insanity:

1) Thoughtfully searching the secondary market for a 2x-3x the price Winter Soldier that you passed on.

2) Embracing the denial of the frigid winds howling through the vast emptiness of your bank account, with all the focus of WS on a mission.

3) Looking at members' sig with concern, and realizing it's a flow chart of what's happening to your own bookshelves ('coz, you know, I'm thinking Falcon is such a cool character, and OMG what if in another movie Falcon, Iron Man, and Bucky team up to save CA (seeing as IM has that brain thing AND does the techno thing...guess I need SW and co. too $$$ - anyway, what if I miss my chance, again? I'll just ignore the fact that if anything like that happened, there'd be MORE character releases $$$ but that doesn't matter because you have to have them all...)

4) Living in fear that there's something from Rogue One you also are going to want $$$.

5) Knowing that not long ago, you were smiling in amusement at all the IM releases, thinking who can even keep track, little knowing of the coming *angst* and the scouring of your credit to come, which only proves the universe is one big joke and it's on you...

But. These are limited edition ART figures. So that makes it OK.

Hmm ... I feel like insanity is tightening it's grip around me ...

1) GUILTY! But thankfully I still found one for retail price, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten him coz he was my first and paying retail for him already felt like buying a new car sooo ... XD I blame Bucky for the situation I'm currently in. Thanks Buck!

2) GUILTY! Oh hey, what to do with that bonus you just received from work? Save it? BOLLOX! Cave in and order Hot Toys figures you never knew you needed until you got a bonus! Maybe there will be some left over to pay for preorders. XD

3) I hate to admit it but ... yes, guilty. -___- But in my defense, it was absolutely unthinkable that I'd get Ant-Man but not Falcon so of course I had to get Sam as well! And I know I said I hated the rooted hair but it's Wanda! Wanda! Clint will follow soon enough coz now that I got 5 of Team Cap, I can just go all the way, right? *sigh*

4) Oh finally something I ain't gotta worry about!

5) *looks at preorder list* Yes, but that IM is basically just there to keep my bf entertained and pleased as IM is the only character he really likes so by getting this one, I'm kinda making a sacrifice to the entity that's constantly present at my apartment and nagging and complaining about the Cap overload ... it's for the greater good. That and it's diecast! And look at the LEDs! It's gonna be my only one though. I mean, look at the price! XD LoL ... I keep telling myself that even though my signature is long outdated and I have just sinned again and ordered Rescue Cap coz I need him to go with my Azzano Bucky and I'll probably need a Harley for him too so rip wallet ...

But yeah. It's ART! Absolutely! I mean, I could buy a car but who needs that? Ha!

Now if HT would finally release Bucky here, I'd be more than pleased. I think I might need a spare head sculpt in case I ever wanna do a civvie Buck ...

I WISH I could have gotten WS retail - lesson learned. Not only is my own current situation Bucky's fault, the humble plum will never be the same again in my eyes. *Sob* Bucky was just trying to lay low, minding his own business, trying to get a little healthy breakfast, and some *&^%$ starts tossing gas canisters into his apartment - I mean, how would you feel? So rude!

(It's also Bucky's and CA's fault I'm gonna check out some 1:6 scale cars, that I can take a hammer to for display - who would have thought? And maybe get some orange resin and make some FLAMES....)

Plenty of cars tho. Just think how many got wrecked making these films. After all, these are LIMITED EDITION ART. And I'd love a spare head sculpt, 'coz I like rooted hair (depending) and I've been thinking of a civvie Buck too - already looking at the 1:6 costume sites for the shirts. Then I'd have an excuse to get Black Panther *cough* re a display.

Meanwhile, got my pre-order for Bucky in, and checking out Iron Studios stuff, but think $$$ gonna have to stick w. HT re the Avengers. Checked out IM diecast but re being RESPONSIBLE *cough* guess I'll go w. the less expensive version. Probably.
