Well, broke down - threw my paltry point collection at this guy and ordered$. I'm *awash* in Winter Soldiers (kitbashing my fav), looking at another Cap (kitbashing him too), 3 SW so far (another fav), looking at another Falcon and BW - how can I not have IRON MAN?

But it had to be the RIGHT Iron Man. 'Course it ends up being the *pricey* one LOL. But comments in this thread and Optobotimus' review convinced me this is THE ONE for me.

I like that this one is diecast (just because it's IRON MAN). I like the included blast effects. I like dio bases. I like that this armor has mostly red. The sculpt looks incredible. And it's the IM from one of the two #1 films for me (TWS & CW). Heck, I even like the included Cap helmet.

Besides, might as well get him now; doubt if he will be cheaper down the road.

My Mark XLVI arrived today. With the exception of having to glue a loose shoulder magnet, I'm very happy with this guy. He looks totally badass!

I was fortunate, didn't have any issues with the shoulders, battery compartments, etc. Definitely my favorite armor (so far).

Other than the AG0/L521F, 1.5v batteries it comes with are there any other batteries that'll fit that're a laster longing?

Ummm...what am I missing here? Where do I put in the batteries to get the bottom of the feet to light up?
If the thigh batteries are supposed to light up the bottom of the feet, it's not working on either foot on mine.
I still have two little batteries left.

Nevermind. I guess I don't have any batteries left as i skipped inserting them into one of the shoulders.

Don't think so. I do harp on about it but a soap reactor is really the only solution for instant and constant light up features

The Mark 46 looks so impressive lit up. I have never ever added the batteries to my Iron Man figures but this tempts me (tho how difficult it is to get those batteries in doesn't seem worth it). But wow guys. Impressive.

Batteries are staying in the box for me. I never light up anything so...

I'll probably put the batteries in for the arc reactor and call it a day. I still have to wait 5-6 weeks before this gets delivered.

How i did it was i pop the head first, then for the neck i tilt it back as far as i can and it comes off. from there i can add the tony head.
