I own this figure, but still, seeing all the well-composed and well-lit images gets me giddy for it again, as if it hasn't yet arrived and is on the way.

Was home for the weekend so decided to take the Mk. 45 and 46 out of their boxes and tinker around with em.

Enjoy the pics!

Just got mine on Saturday from Sideshow. It was on my "maybe" list for a long time, then I just pulled the trigger. I gotta admit, this is one of my favorite figures. I love not having the gap between the shoulder like the 43 and many others. He's right at home with my War Machine Mark 3.

Unfortunately I did break a piece while swapping out the forearm attachments, so be warned. I have over 25 iron man figures and have never had a problem before. I can glue it back on, but it's still a little upsetting.

Got mine in yesterday. He is really amazing.

The shoulder panels are a bear to get off, but other than that, he's really awesome!

Do wish he had a standard base so he'd blend in better with the Civil War Captain America, Winter Soldier, and Black Widow I have.

Love all the lights on him. Luckily they all work. Though one of his legs seems a bit iffy depending on its position.

Excuse the poor background and posing. :lol

It's just certain pictures that are distorting the proportions. It doesn't look top heavy at all in person.

Shamelessly plugging another picture. Really loving this figure.

Agreed. I waited on this figure because of people saying the proportions were off. I picked it up on a whim when SS had it for sale and I couldn't be happier.

Sure, the figure looks slimmer, but it's the newest version. I expect it to look slimmer and updated. Proportion wise , I think it looks great. Never would have guessed it would be in my top 5 figures.

Yeah I think some of these pics are probably making the lower half look skinnier or smaller than it really is. Looking at it from a distance, the proportions look perfectly fine to me, and he matches up with my BvS Supes pretty well. And his waist is even the exact same width.

Yeah there are no problems with his proportions in person. It's just a trick of the camera in some photos.

I got my figure yesterday and absolutely love it! I went through a QC check and all the magnets are fine and the lights were all fine until the right repulsor hand ones. As soon as I put the batteries in they turned on which I found odd. When I went to turn the light switch to off, I noticed that it was off. Although they work the lights stay on whether you flip the switch on or off. Any ideas on how this could be fixed, or am I out of luck and need to get a replacement arm?

I'm thinking of perhaps finding some plastic tab that I could put between the connector and the battery to keep the light off, but hate the fact that I paid as much money as I did to get something that doesn't work as intended.

I would just get a replacement arm. Even though it lights up it doesn't "work" if you can't switch it on and off.

I ended up submitting a claim. As much as we pay for these, they should work as intended. Hoping it's painless to get the replacement part. I suppose of all the things that COULD go wrong, this is not too bad...especially if they replace it promptly.

SoGS your pics are awesome. So many great pics in this thread...the camera seems to love this figure.

Speaking of, I haven't taken many photos of him yet, but here is a few I took. Sorry for all of the stuff in the background. :p I still can't get over how good his head sculpt is.

The clip that attaches to the pole started leaving scratches on the waist of my figure. I was able to buff them out but wanted to pass along.

Thanks Jerker, that's good to know. I try not to use stands, but was thinking I may have to use one with this guy (once I get him) as he's a lot heavier due to the die cast parts.

Guess there must be a way to put a thin cover/tape over the waist gripper. Getting it to look half decent is the trick though.

You got it. Im thinking about gluing a thin strip on craft foam to the insides. As neatly as possible of course.

I find that giant clip on the side to be really distracting anyway, so I went and ordered one of those RT stands on eBay with the crotch support. And that should also take up much less room in the detolf.

Appreciate it :duff

Yeah getting a replacement seems like the best course of action. Put the issue in their hands to resolve, not your own. Especially for electronic issues.
