Here's a 45/46 comparison pic.

Always hated the 45 for some reason..something about it was off. Maybe just the cgi in AoU for some scenes. I dunno. 46 will be my one and only definitive IM on my shelf. Birthday gift to myself haha

Have any of the reviews discussed how much of the figure is diecast?

It's called a masculine v-taper. You should look that up. Im guessing you don't do any weight lifting....

I tried weight training. I realized I was too lazy for that.

I'm sure it's too early to tell, but after watching this video I can't help but be reminded of my initial QC fears for a figure with so many lights...

see 11:36 and 15:48

There may be more examples throughout the video but those were the instances that caught my attention. Yeah, the lights came back on, but seeing that flickering made my heart flicker a little :lol

I Have not put batteries in any of my new IM figuries in a couple years and pulled them out of all my old ones (I have about 30). It's great for pictures but after that i never turn them on because it's to much of a pain the butt.

I just enjoy the amazing pictures and videos of lighted up figures on here. The odds are high that i probably do have one or two that are defective because i never checked them. But i will never use them, i have no plans to ever sell the IM figures and if i did i would just be honest and say the lights have never been used.

Good catch! Although makes me wonder about mine because I actually never really use the lights either. Pain in the butt!

Here's a review of the HT Mark 46. Sorry for the 45 min video, but you know me, I tend to jabber on. Lol. Please watch the entire video if you can or the segments that enable you to understand what I'm talking about, because you'll better understand what's going on. I love this figure but I did have some problems with one of the two in the video. I was having a few pints during this review, but be assured this had nothing to with the problems I encountered. I'm not some newbie, I've been collecting for about 20 years now, and the issues occurred 4-5 hours before i even started drinking, which is when I initially unboxed it, but then occurred again during the review. Additionally, I unboxed two of figures, both are in the video, and only one had problems, so yeah there's that. Lol. I mentioned in a post on OSR that it had QC issues galore, and this was mainly because of the electrical issues, as this was one of the main attraction points of this particular Iron Man piece. Most of us have been collecting long enough to know when something is wrong. Just saying. I discuss within the video. My experience in no way means the issues I've encountered are widespread. Again, this is just what I experienced. It doesn't mean that every figure will be this way. I know some folks will still want to scream "yeah but you were drinking", and that's fine, but yeah, two figs in the video, one worked, and one did not. Again, love the figure, however it just appears I may have received a single defective one. That's how it goes sometimes.:clap
