Yes sir. Day one PO for me. I'm still trying to get my hands on a Knightmare Batman currently, just bot in a rush since he's being reissued.

Just received my Daftoys coat as well. Artbox is a nice touch. Here's a side by side pic of the Daftoys coat and OSK coat in case anyone was curious. View attachment 544846View attachment 544847

My Daftoys turned up today too. WTF were they thinking with the "weathering triangles" on the bottom of the coat ??

Shows they never watched the movie or really give a damn about the product.

Will have to see if I mod it by hand, or try and return or sell it.

Looks like they must have rushed to meet production demands. The promo pics show it properly weathered/distressed at the bottom. I'll just mod that part if the rest looks good. Shouldn't be too hard.

Yes, those pics look more like it. They probably told the people on the production line do some small cut outs along the bottom hem. And they did. Daftoys just forgot to send them the reference picture !!

But yes, shouldn't be a difficult mod with a pair of scissors and some Tamiya weathering pastels.

For what it's worth, I've had a few orders with OSK this year, and shipping times have been all over the place. The longest took a few months, the shortest a couple of weeks. 4px seems to be faster than ePacket.

ePacket was pretty smooth early this year, and they started to delay around 2nd quarter, we are done with ePacket now, with 4PX shipping is pretty stable, 1-2 week to States

The eBay dealer in China that I purchased the Daftoys Knightmare Batman trench coat from has shipped it. Supposed to be arriving in just a few days (must be via Speedpak then). Coinciding with release from the manufacturer. 99.6% positive on eBay. So it should be fine. As others are saying it’ll be sitting around for the better part of a year until the two-pack releases.

It arrived today but that too goes under the tree. On Christmas I’ll try it out on BvS Batman just to get an idea of the fit.

Yeah delayed releases are probably the rule rather than the exception. If ZSJL Bats/Supes two-pack release is delayed, there’s relatively little being made for DC by HT so that would be a cold shot indeed. Knightmare Batman is a straight reissue and Black Suit Superman is an alternative paint job for another reissued figure. At least it’s not like they have to devote time and energy into development of a brand new figure like Cyborg. Of the two products it’s Cyborg that I would think would be at higher risk for delayed released.

If it was a normal release I'd agree, DC generally gets sent to the back of the line. In this case you have one straight up reissue and one repaint. Not sure what could delay it a year.

Yep…everything you are saying is true.
And it’s what’s going to make the inevitable delay to 2023 even more frustrating.
In fact, when 2022 rolls by and the set still hasn’t been released, that’s exactly what people will be posting on this very thread…
“Makes no sense that it hasn’t come out yet! One is a straight up reissue and the other is a simple repaint! What could have DELAYED IT A YEAR??? Why hasn’t Hot Toys been able to get this set out yet???”

I would point out that JL Superman was pretty darned delayed as well, but in all fairness, that did include a light up head, which surely can account for at least some of the delay. But no matter how you slice it, DC is no priority for HT. I'm sure I'll have Knightmare Joker and Flash before this arrives.

Cost came. Fees less like a piece of crispy bacon like the OSK one. Bandana is manageable. I like that it’s not wired. Kinda wish it had a little bit more weight to it. Collar works beautifully and behaved how I want it to. Overall, glad I got. Would have been a 10 for me if it did t look like my 5 year old handled the cuts on the bottom.

Hands down my favorite figure in my collection. The character design for this Batman was amazing. Glad to have this displayed on my shelf.
