What if -- and I'm not saying I know anything -- but what if these hardened troopers have the voices of little schoolgirls? Just suppose. Would you still want 4? Won't they be annoyingly chatty in a girl-pack of four?

Imagine the one holding the white trooper doll saying (in 14 year old girl voice): This is sooooooo cute. I'm keeping him.

Its Star Wars. Its troop building. Who gives a fook what their voices sound like?

I'm thinking they only appear early (and briefly) in the movie when Jyn is just a child. Not getting the hopes up here but I do like the way they look.
Remember, the Snowtroopers appearance in ESB was brief but memorable. ..so we'll see. ....

I recall seeing a still of them flanking Krennic on what looked like a room on the Death Star, as well as shots of them on what looks like Scarif.

I've heard the childhood Jyn sequence is extremely short (10-15 minutes of the movie), so were they just relegated to the background there, they would be on screen for mere seconds.

I don't really get where this line of thought comes from? So, if they die easily or are not super troops no one will want them?

Because no one wants can't hit a barn with their blasters, fall down like dominos, Stormtrooper figures. Ever. Right?

Or... the other big trend seems to be worrying about screen time.

Yeah, screen time makes a character doesn't it? No one wants Cantina creatures or those stupid Bounty Hunters that barely appeared in the movies. They haven't made tons of toys and merchandising off of any of the small screen time stuff over the years have they? Honestly, I'd rather see an announcement for a kick *** HotToys Lando W/Lobot 2 pack than about anything from a new movie so far. Its Star Wars, not everything has to be a Luke, Han, or Leia and have tons of screentime to be wanted by fans.

But they were only on screen for a short time and didn't actually shoot anyone, surely no one would buy a Snowtrooper, right?

For me it's more if I like the movie or not that decides if I get the figures or not. So I'm holding off on ordering until Wednesday.

Really annoying that the specialist deluxe version is missing accessories from the other versions, pretty obvious cash grab. Is the specialist deluxe only missing the smaller rifle? Trying to take account of which part ill need to buy on eBay if I get the specialist deluxe

Good catch, I hadn't even noticed this, I just assumed the long rifle was in addition to the two weapons the regular came with.
