I'm glad to see this trooper, every OT movie introduced us to a new trooper variant; glad to see Rogue One is not breaking the tradition.

You mean by introducing 3 new troopers that exist 5 seconds before ANH that we never see again?

I like that they're all different and all feel OT though. ANH had a lot of parts borrowing--sandtrooper, spacetrooper, were both just stormtroopers with extra ****. Even the TIE pilot helmet borrows.

They were useless at stopping the DS plans theft, so all the units were disbanded and those armor styles retired in shame!

I love this figure but it feels more TFA than pre-OT.

I dunno. There's a machine look to it as opposed to the slick Apple designed first order stormtroopers.

Yeah these are more angular and in line with the OT troopers like the scout and maybe a couple of the PT troopers. TFA is a bit more bubbly and smooth.

They were useless at stopping the DS plans theft, so all the units were disbanded and those armor styles retired in shame!

I just hope we get to see the equivalent of ewoks playing bongos on their helmets.

This looks crazy cool.... but HT is notorious for releasing better versions later on. I wonder what can be better? One with a backpack?

Wow what a figure. Very detailed, way way better than the TFA stuff. I'm passing on this for sure (waiting for 1/4 Vader and StormTrooper)...very nice piece tho.
