Did you damage his shoulder?

I’m not sure if it was from rubbing or contact with the torso armor, but around when I first got the figure I posed him with his arm raised. The next day or so later when I put it back down I noticed it had faded in that spot. Bummer for sure, but it doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. As long as it doesn’t get worse or happen to the other arm. Be careful of the shoulders when posing the arms.

Really happy I decided to pull the trigger on this one. My first Thor figure since the original I sold a few years back. Really cool piece!

Agree! Nice pics - my first Thor and this guy has such shelf presence!

Yeah, I would have much preferred the TTM20 arms.

Me too.
I don't get why there are so many TTM18 clone bodies for $14 US but no clones of TTM20. Only actual HT bodies that cost more than a Phicen.

And as for Phicen, the M33 arms (triceps really) are too small for a character like Thor, but the M34 chest is too big.
:gah:

Is that paint fade on his shoulder?

Unfortunately yeah [emoji107] I mentioned before that it came from having the arm posed holding the hammer out. It’s either because of rubbing or contact with the armor. I just have to ignore it at this point or I’d have to slap myself lol 🤚

I've got a BW w. a scratch at the neckline like that. It's whatever that latex or paint or whatever HT uses is so thin. Someday I'll get around to smudging some paint over it.

W. Thor maybe some fake dried blood or dirt would be just as good. He's supposed to be "roadworn"

I wonder if a little fixative on the arms would solve this? Any painters here tried to solve this rubber paint or latex overlay rub issue? Seems like most figures with the rubber, be it solid or overlay, are susceptible to this type of minor wear damage. wonder if anyones Hulk did this?

It's been a slow process but I am about done. Just a few more tweaks. So it's still a WIP. Using the AoU sculpt.

I bought this even though I’m not a huge fan of the sculpt, I dug the movie and outfit. Plus it’s probably the last long hair version of Thor we’re gonna get. I still think the dark world sculpt- i have the asguardian version-is the best sculpt of hemsworth hot toys has done too date, but the movie isn’t nearly as good and the costume isnt nearly as unique as this RW one,, plus the hammer upgrade is nice too have. Ill probably cancel my gladiator Thor po now and make short haired One Eyed Willie Thor from infinity war be my last Thor

Thanks steve74. I'm just about finished with my Roadworn Thor sculpt.

Hope to get the bearded Thor done before new years.

Hey Brainiac, how did you get the hood to display like that? Thanks

Your ancestors called it magic, and you call it science but I come from a place where they're one and the same thing :p

:lol

In all honesty I just glued down the sides of the hood to the hair. You have to tuck the back part of the hair in under the cape and hood to be able to pull it up over the head. The first time I did this I wet the the hood first so it would hang down naturally but I don't think its necessary. Hopefully that helps :)
