Me too!!
i will be going with the Hood over the head pose,hands clasped together ala entering Jabba's palace.
To me that is a truly iconic opening scene for Jedi Luke.
Another pose i have in mind is when he has his back to Vader,hands in binders,on Endor.

Love it! Yes, the padding is a bit weird, should have had more gloved hands etc. but I’m personally impressed with this release and can’t wait to get him in my display.[emoji3]

Hi guyz.
Can you owners confirm that the blaster that comes with this figure is too small and its hilt does not fill the figure's hands?

Are hands included in this fig too big, as it tends to be tradition with HT figs?

BTW: I have a Hot Toys MMS429 available for US$235 shipped worldwide (customs are extra, an invoice will be provided). Fig is in the Chinese vendor's premises. Hence, MISB condition. If interested PM me.

Modded mine a bit by extending the neck and cutting out the foam padding but such a solid release overall. Love the figures that need little to no futzing and he’s no exception. Easy to get him looking ace.

What did you do to extend the neck? Did you have to switch out hte peg? If so, what peg did you use?

How are people opening his outfit to mess with the body suit, I’ve looked mine over and don’t see any way that wouldn’t wreck the costume.

I removed most of my fat suit underneath so I’ve removed the suit several times.
Remove the boots
Remove the head
Remove the hands
Remove the belt
Slide the pants off
Bend the knee to get the elastic strap keeping the shirt tucked in over the leg
Slide the shirt off over the head
Remove or modify fatsuit.
Reverse to put back on.

Sorry but I have to speak my mind: guys, the emperor is naked.
The fit of clothes on this Luke (not only this unit, but in general) es awful. Looks like a cheap doll with those chicken legs and barrel torso. And that fatsuit... Shirt is way too ample for the body's shoulder length. And the list of problems goes on.

I know protos are nothing to go by, but if SSC gets the fit right with their Luke ROTJ, so that it looks properly human and "elegant", that's going to be a kick on HT's mouth.
I am selling my Luke ROTJ because I am getting the Deluxe, but I expect no improvement and will have to deal with this problem, for which I see no solution but switching the body altogether for some other that at least fills the clothes as due.

I am impressed. It has more of the tight tailoring we are seeing from the new Sideshow deluxe figure that’s why I asked. Nicely done sir. More pictures would be appreciated.

jedijim you mean that the Deluxe's underlying Jedi Luke is somehow different from this one? If affirmative, any pics that hint to it?

I dont get why people are upset about the sculpt.

It is the best Hamill sculpt they have done. None of the others, including DX07 look as accurate as this ROTJ version.

DX07 is close though but side profile is off to my eyes.

I dont see the point in buying the deluxe the standard is the definitive ROTJ for me.

Hot Toys seem to be doing this lately , look at EP7 R2D2 , i git him because i thought would be the only one. The they release the Deluxe one , so now I am stuck with the force awakens one which does nothing and wow factor isnt there.The EP7 one is now considered worthless to many people.

I agree that DX07's sculpt is far from perfect, but IMHO it is way more accurate than this one, which looks to me a bit on the monkeyish side.

One last question for owners: I own Han HT ANH. Boots are very very weird. You take them off, put them in vertical position and the shaft does not go straight upwards, but lean a bit forwards. If this is to create some realistic effect it is a total failure: once on, this boots have always looked like crap. As a counterexample: I also own the boots from Han TFA. They don't have this issue, and on top of that, the body (of which I own 2 units) has those pieces of foam glued onto the calves/shins. As a result, boots on that figure look cool.

So: Han's ANH boots are crap. I'd like to switch them for something better. Maybe Luke's.
My question: are Luke's better? In some pics they look better, in others they don't. Is the shaft at least straight? (ie. orthogonal to the plane of the sole)
Does the body have those foam fillers glued onto the lower legs?
