I meant the complete gladiator outfit, the one with the helmet and the red paint. It was only for a short time isnt it? He wears it after but without the red paint and the helmet. Makes me wonder if HT will do one without the red paint and a clean headsculpt (or an eyepatch).

I get where you going now too. Maybe if they do a movie promo version without red paint, it'll include that

Did we all watch the same movie?

I'm getting both this and RW, but the Gladiator look definitely has far more screen time than the RW. Rw was on screen about the first 1/4 of the flick, and this was the outfit for 3/4 of the movie. I think Surtur's Crown is a cool and important accessory, but having a much less screen time than the Gladiator ver. and not being promoted in any of the marketing, I can't call the RW look the definitive version for this movie.

As I mentioned as well myself, the only thing I think that makes this figure too scene specific is the red paint on the face, but the outfit itself and obviously the sculpt with the short hair to me is representative of roughly 3/4 of the film.

They probably will make a clean sculpt with an eye patch... For Infinity War. He'll still have the short hair and the suit will generally be the same... I can do without the red markings honestly, so I may just wait for the IW figure instead of getting this one...IF I don't get this figure I'm definitely going to try to get the helmet on the secondary market. It will probably be the last helmet we ever see him in.

With the infinity stones in play he might go back to his old self, I hope not. This new looks is fine, he just needs his long hair back and it'd be perfect. But we don't really know how much he'll change next time.

I bought RW Thor knowing that might be a problem one day. Who knows if HT has reacted to the online complaints. The YT Gamora arm-split vids were painful to watch.

Not saying I'll be happy if and when I hafta replace the body$$$. But for now I love my RW Thor.

The final act Thor is basically the new IW version. Just wait for that one.

Yes, sorry, as you mention I meant the Thor during Hela’s final battle.
I think I’ll have to get this and also Infinity War version. [emoji848] good for me I’m not that tempted to get any other figure besides Thanos from that line.

After rewatching the movie last night, I'm really wishing either the Gladiator or Roadworn sculpts had captured more of his fun personality in the movie. I'd love to get one of these, but the overly grim and serious expressions just aren't grabbing me and don't seem to represent the movie very well.

That's my big problem with Spidey. I want to use the Tom Holland sculpt, but I don't see how you can without sticking to a very vanilla, museam pose.. which considering my lack of skill posing figures, and criticisms of the suit fabric.. it's probably for the best.

Struggling to think of sculpts with fun smirks aside from the first Chris Pratt and Paul Rudd come to think of it..

Urgh, I really can't decide between Gladia-Thor and the new IW one.
Of course, the new one is amazing, but to me the Gladiator outfit just rocks and locks so much better than this pimped up Thor 1 costume he's wearing in IW.

Truth is I won’t be able to wait for IW Thor, once this guys releases in HK, which I hope is any day from today.
Knowing there’s a Gladiator - short haired Thor out there that can be modified to a God of Thunder Thor
