Hot Toys - MMS477 / MMS478 - Star Wars Episode III: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Std & Dlx)

Oddly I love everything about this but his shirt and tunic. It’s like they are made of marshmallows. I prefer that bit of Sideshows version. Looks like another figure in need of bashing.

So is it safe to assume that dooku is next or is that a SS doku I can't tell can anyone chime in?

Sideshow never made a Dooku.

I'm in for the DX. Don't really care about baby Luke but I like the lighted table.

Hot Toys have nailed Ewan McGregor as young Obi-wan. Tis a shame they couldn’t get Alec Guinness in old Ben. I’m all over this. Regular for me.

Neither seems dead on, Sideshow a bit too thin, HT a bit too thick, but looking at HT's photos, I feel like part of the thick appearance is the loose fit on the figure, with some futzing I feel like it would look a lot better.

Regular version for me. Now just need Padame and Maul. Maybe Yoda.

I’m very excited for this as I loved Obi-Wan in the prequels! I’m also looking forward to Dooku. I have to wonder what happened to the Death Star trooper and the Endor figures though...

I'm sure Hot Toys added a padded under suit. Maybe removing it will make the clothing look better.

This is one of the most awaited figures since I started collecting star wars items. Looking amazing.

The robe is a good length on this one. I’ll go with the deluxe as long as the price difference isn’t unreasonable.

This is looking great! Lol! at baby Luke but that hologram set up is awesome. Take that plasticy shine off his boots and he's a winner.

I only need the head. The sideshow clothes were fine for me. Its the same situation i have with anakin. Count dooku is another story, i had to bash my version.
