I got a big month this month. Wolffe, Diecast WarMachine, Mechanic Tony, Mandarin, and Deluxe Vader. Plus pickin some up on my trip to NYC Saturday. Yay figures!
I was waiting for him for so long I made a window of time just for him, despite the ridiculous amount of new figs this month and the cases of clones still haven't even dropped yet!!!

After the one shot on Thor 2 Blu, I think I've become obsessed with Trevor Slattery...
I loved how he had a following in the slammer and was protected, still being able to be a luvvie and get away with it.

And the best part is.....
since the Mandarin IS real, and Trevor was given plastic surgery to look like him, Kingsley can still portray the Mandarin without being Trevor. As much as I like Trevor, I REALLY liked his performance as the "actual" Mandarin. I really think it was a great take on a Mandarin for the modern world. And I'm a believer that with how "far out" Thor 2 is (and Guardians...will be) the mystical ring idea can totally work.

Im thinking of bashing a prison suit trevor but seem to have missed the boat on picking up a body for cheap
If I was to a clone on ebay which one would I need? He looks to me like he's a bit bigger than a ttm22, but has the slim neck post with smaller balljoint so I'm a little confused

No worries. While you *can* pick up a Storm Shadow body, the bootlegs do just as good a job, especially if it's going to be hidden under clothing.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, probably just cheap out in this one. Will I need to sand down the ball joint in the neck of the bootleg? Think I've had to do that before to get smaller necks to fit
That body should work fine, even with the neck.
Of course, the neck will not have the anarchy tattoo. But you can paint that on. I have bought loads of those bootlegs for customs. They work fine with all HT parts because they are HT bootlegs.

Ah sorry Bar, I meant if I was to use the mandarin neck post would I have to shave the lower neck ball down on the body? I'm assuming yes as I think it's like the Red Skull neck joint

I just tried to do a swap with the Mandarin neck to the bootleg and it's a no go.
Also, i never had to take the head off till now, but the Mandarin has a smaller neck ball inside the head...
So if anyone tries to pop his head on a normal neck they might be in for a surprise, lol.

Aha yeah it's a headscratcher, first time I've seen it on a fig.
I might do a bit of digging to see what other bodies have the smaller balljoint in the neck (not sure if a ttm22 does) and see if I can land a bargain somewhere, I know red skull has it, possibly Sweeney todd and I'm hoping the crow does as they can be picked up pretty cheaply at the minute
