I haven't seen the Avengers yet. But why do I feel like Avengers was made for kids and Batman TDKR feels more like made for a more mature audience???

Have you not seen any of the other Marvel movies that led up to the Avengers? If so, then you should have a good idea what the Avengers will be like.

The Avengers is a fun comic movie. Marvel's movies take me back to the original comics. There's some comedy, lots of action, and story all jumbled together. You can't really compare the two IMO. They are made differently in different styles. The avengers is more of an action movie done in a fun but still serious manner under the action, where as TDKR is like a drama but with some action in is done more seriously without the fun that Avengers brings to the table. Two different types of movies though. To me anyway and I don't think one is/will be better than the other since I find them non comparable

Comments like this are why some people are turned off by Batman fans. It really does have a pretentious tone to it.

Personally, I don't see it as kids vs. mature. Avengers is more "fun" while Nolan's movies are more "heavy". That doesn't make one better than the other. Some like that Nolan's movies are more dramatic/dark, while others think Superhero movies are diminished by being too serious. Neither is "right", it's just different strokes for different folks. :)

Personally, I thought Avengers was awesome. However, I wasn't moved the way Begins and TDK moved me. It's just two different kinds of experiences.

:exactly::goodpost:
begins however moved me more so than tdk

Yep. Begins > TDK. But only by a little. :)

its prolly been brought up before somewhere but i just like the "why do we fall" and " i never said thank you......and you'll never have too " lines well for me its just badass and i can see how motivating it can be to an individual such as myself

For me it's the line "It's not who I am inside, but what I do that defines me" that is most motivating. If we live and act like an A-hole that makes us an A-hole even if we think we "have a good heart" or whatever. Very motivating. :)

ahh yes love that line also but what i love about begins the most is how nolan sets it up for the dark knight just the whole roof top scene is amazing, imo its way cooler than how marvel had all the after credit scenes in all their movies to lead into the avengers, not to deter from the point of this thread i can't wait to see this figure, just hope they have something different the police officer suit
