the Joker would have been the perfect hors d'œuvre leading into TDKR had it been offered within these past few months. Hot Toys has really missed the mark.

Eh, I don't know if they missed the mark but it is curious to be releasing a Joker figure around the time of a Batman flick with no Joker. So, yeah, will it come out before the TDKR stuff, after or along with them? As far as profit is comcerned I don't think it really matters. As someone already posted I wouldn't doubt if it sells better than any of the TDKR stuff.

My wife prefers the colorful Avengers figures and posters over the somber BB/TDK/TDKR stuff.

I like both so my collection will be focussed on both movies.

I have three 27 x 40 frames waiting for BB/TDK/TDKR posters for the collection room.

I'm going to have fun contrasting all the somber* Batman stuff opposite the colorful Avengers stuff.

*But I have a feeling that TDKR will be ending on a postive high spirit note as its own contrast to all the somber marketing.

This'll be pie in the sky until they're done with TDKR and Avengers. No preview until 4th quarter and release will be mid to late next year at best... after they finish final releases of TDKR, Avengers, and '89 Batmobile. Oh, and not to mention that they're working on Batman Returns, the Bat, and possibly the Batwing.

It's good that they have so much planned, but I honestly think they put too much on their plate at once. If they had it their way they would exclusively only do Iron Man

I just hope this comes out before TDKR Batman. I wasn't into 1/6 at the time of the Dark Knight. But I can't buy Batman before the Joker since the only reason for me to get Batman would be if I had Joker before hand.

they could start by finally making the coat lining orange.

I don't mind red.

And making it a 4 tail coat.

I'll be happy if they just use a fabric like they did on the DX08 jacket.

If they made the lining orange and made the purple coat a little lighter and the same fabric as Nicholson Joker it would make a great bookend piece to the DX 09.

That orange lining in the jacket would do it. Joker needs that little bit of orange to him with the purple and green to really make him pop. Ever since the V1 Joker I've always felt they could have brightened up the pallet a bit on their Joker figures. Everything from the coat and the hair is just too dark. I'd love to see a blue tinted sports coat too as opposed to the gray one they keep using.

I'd love to see a smile too. They proved they could handle it with Nicholson. Brighten up the clothes, improve the tailoring and give him a smiling portrait and I think you have the ideal improvement.

Agreed on the tone being kind of drab on all the Ledger Jokers.

If in the COM COMIC 2012, this figure does not show, I bought the first joker dx1, for me a year of waiting is too much and two years ....?. If so is only to show the figure, what time will have to wait until it comes out?, Another year?, So happened to most of the figures shown at Comic com.

August 2013 is too long
