When the first pics of the final product appeared I wasn't thrilled with the way the paint apps turned out, and I briefly considered canceling. I'm really glad I didn't cancel this one! I've actually grown quite fond of it.

It really does look much more impressive in hand. For one thing, it's an enormous figure and will dwarf your other 1/6 figures, as it should. Even the Predators are humbled by the size of this sucker. Articulation is pretty good for a figure of this size, too. In a way it's like a practice piece for the Queen alien, which will be a truly massive hunk of plastic.

The paint apps looked a lot better than in person, too. Still planning to do some repainting one of these days, but for now it's serving quite nicely as the ruling xenomorph of my collection until Big Mama arrives. The Predalien is an interesting figure and worthy of adding to any Alien/Predator fan's collection, regardless of the movie's suction factor.

There's a BD Predalien on the way, bundled with a DVD set for distribution in Japan, apparently. Haven't seen them anywhere but on eBay so far, but the figure looks interesting. It has the two holes in the top of it's head dome that Wolf made when he rabbit-punched his wrist blades through it in the final battle scene. Could that possibly mean there's a BD Wolf in the works...?

It may be of small comfort, but at least those of us who bit the bullet and ordered early are better off than the sad sacks who missed out, or waited too long, and now face the dilemma of "to buy or not to buy" one of these figures on good ol' eBay!

in the movie, the color supposed to be a lil bit greenish. I passed this and glad i didnt preorder. I had high hope with this figure but HT let me down.

actually same case applied to wolf predator. he looked more yellow than he supposed to be. for this kind of dollars, i really demand perfectness. but i will get him anyway coz i am a hardcore avid predator fan.

if this was mcfarlane, and neca, i can tolerate this crap. BUT HT?? WTH.

Good enough for me, and quite honestly it's the only PA item that offers this kind of quality with a good range of articulation. Although if you have the big bucks and like lame pre-posed statues you could go with the SS maquette.

And the movie was so damn dark, how would anyone nitpick about a miniscule color deviation.

Again, you've got to see the PA in person, pics don't do it justice.

It is supposed to be yellowish not green. If you watch the special feature on creating the Predalien on the DVD, they talk about keeping the chest coloring yellowish like a Predator.
