Due to the fact its a movie the atmosphere in alien could cause the look we saw rather than prometheus

Still no updates...

Yeah they were two thousand years old according to Shaw's thingy. That doesn't confirm anything though considering the derelict is on an entirely different planet that, unlike LV-223, can't sustain life.
Plus, if it had crashed there before the engineers in Prometheus met their doom, surely they would have flown one planet over to see what's up. Hell, he could have been floating through space dead for millions of years before even crashing on LV-426.

But that's the point. We don't know what happened.

I fear this is another premature announcement (a la Green Lantern) that may never see the light of day. Frankly, it's probably for the best if HT just moves on to something else. I can't imagine sales will even match those of Tron. Re-release of the Xenomorphs from Aliens would be better.

They may just green lantern it and say they couldnt find a way to make the suits work as an excuse to cover the anti-climax that was the movie

Yeah, I think it's dead already.

:exactly: I was surprised they announced it at all. I thought the film was really good but figure wise there's nothing other than an engineer which is that appealing IMO but for what HT want to charge for a figure now days I can't imagine many buying.

You "fear" this announcement was premature? Would you have actually purchased a figure then? I don't care how unprofitable this line might be, all I'm concerned about is my one purchase. :) Hopefully we see a Shaw w/David head preview in the next couple of weeks.

And a Corporal Hicks MMS with accurate Biehn headsculpt would be one of my top grails, possibly only second to the recent Bespin Luke.

This line is DOA when they already stated the first figure would preview in the fall and the season isn't over yet? :slap

I just want one character in a Spacesuit, then they have my permission to let this line die... :wink1:
