And yeah ''****in' Elias'', how could I forget him. I was collecting those until they decided to just drop it.

I would have bought the "Platoon Trinity" if Elias showed up. I was this close to pulling the trigger on Taylor and Barnes, but no Elias? No deal. Even had a display in mind for the three of them.

Taylor and Barnes were such great figures, Barnes in particular. Almost kept him just on account of his headsculpt.

I started watching that video & turned the sound down.. then when the Iron / Bat **** started & the camera was flailing around - I thought, "I bet there's comedy music playing right about now.. "

Jeez, that video is depressing. What could have been. I wasn't collecting when the Platoon figures were announced. I never knew they planned that many. Wow, HT squanders licenses.

I don't know what's worse; the fact that Hot Toys paid for the license rights and paid someone to sculpt all the proto figures or the fact that they promoted so many unreleased lines and figures to the customers. Either way it's a poor business model.
