I handle real stuff ever day...even own an EFX vader helmet...the closest thing to real deal..

I bet you could show them a picture of an actual screen used helmet and more than half would find something wrong with it. Those costumes changed so much that I bet there are no two scenes that they are all exactly the same.

Some of those experts realized that the original screen used Vader ANH mask in in the possession of a well known collector and author, when everyone thought it was long lost. So they know their stuff. Check out the forum they hang out in and you'll realize what I'm saying. Or just talk out of your butt.

I’m considering picking this up to pair with my Luke ROTJ PF. Sideshow has failed to give Luke a proper companion piece and this would be perfect to get a proper display pose that will go perfectly with Luke!

I’m just glad I don’t care that every square millimeter of every item may not be 100% accurate, It seems like it would make life miserable worrying about such minor crap.

Looks nice but not sure it’s something I would want to spend that kind of cash on. I had the 1/4 Boba and wasn’t that impressed with it. It was hard to pose and never really could get it in a pose I was happy with. I think at this scale statues are best. It’s nice being able to move the figures but due to the size and weight it’s not like you can do mush more than a museaum pose anyway.

The stand sucks too btw. Doesn’t scream high end collectible and is junk like the Batman ones. I think Enterbay do better 1/4 stands.

Agree with this. Felt the same way about my 1/4 scale Boba. It was finicky.

I feel like I'd be the only one getting this who had no intention of ever displaying the Anakin head. I've just never really seen the appeal for some reason. And even less so now, considering how amazing and perfect the helmet looks on this.

Only problem is it seems like something that makes up a big part of the figure's cost, and that I'd just be paying for sn expensive accessory I wasn't using...

Me too. My Mythos statue has only had the helmet sculpt on it for a couple quick pics and that's all. The human sculpt is what sets it apart from all the other Vader figures.

I think the only way I might consider it is if I could have him sitting in the chair from his meditation chamber, as it would then represent an iconic moment from the movies.

But to just have him strutting around without the helmet seems weird to me, and more like something out of the comics.

Personally i don't see the need for the pers system on this...old ani never did a whole lot in the movie..but he does need some eyebrows...

Yeah the mask/helmet is just too wonderful looking not to have it on the figure....i'd like the option of displaying the anakin sculpt beside it though..
