I noticed on mine that the batteries drained rather quickly. The chest box went especially fast (with very minimal use). Might hardwire this thing to plug in...
Otherwise, a pretty amazing piece.

Was the inner lining of your cape super wrinkled as well? Someone mentioned that in one of the reviews on the previous page.

Yes, my inner cape lining is very wrinkled, but it didn't bother me. I will just iron or steam it flat sometime too...

Yeah that's what I did with my RO and ESB Vaders, as the lights were just way too bright and overpowering. Can't tell if I'll need to do that with this one yet though.

That's why I bought locally from popcultcha. I miss out on the exclusive stand but I saved over $400 (I note PC's price has jumped $100AUD since I locked in what I paid which I further reduced with some rewards). I used to buy nearly everything from SS direct, but a weak dollar, extra taxes and the massive growth in shipping costs means local is now substantially cheaper (especially when you lock in the early bird PO discount). The extra wait just kills though.

Well, always do regret buying Star Wars stuff.. [emoji15] But this does look cool. With that reveal sculpt I can?t say that I will regret the purchase.

If it?s around by Christmas I?ll buy it. But it doesn?t look like it will be.

I opened up Vader today. Absolutely incredible piece, possibly the best quarter scale from Hot Toys I have. I have almost zero complaints. Here's a few quick pictures...

For those who care, here's some comparison pictures with Joker and the Batmen. Really gives a feel for the massive size of this one.... it's really fantastic to have two of my favorite movie villains in this scale next to each other but Vader towers over Joker haha.

Loving this guy..
Interesting though, that this Vader has the same chest box 'glitch' as the 1/6 ESB Vader. It does its thing for a handful of minutes then freezes in the position shown here. Unless I'm the only one cursed with this issue?!

I had a problem with the exclusive base not having the red light work so they are sending me a new one.

Funny. My red light works but the base light doesn’t. Sideshow is great; no issues and they are sending me a new one.

I think they've been back for a while now. But I prefer using the LED tape lights on Amazon that come in a roll, as you can get them in daylight color and adjust the brightness level.
