I still need to get the GE but yeah Excella would certainly be one of HT's hottest figures (especially if they get the likeness right) and a very welcome edition to the RE5 line. My friend is fighting Wesker and Jill atm and has died 3 times allready even with infinte ammo (well actually he's only died twice and accidently killed Jill when using the Rocket Launcher).

I'm guessing the other time was killing jill with the hydra?

I tweaked one of the new pics by making the head a tiny bit wider and placing it lower on the neck. I think it looks a lot better that way.

Yeah, the head looked far to high on the neck compared to the cg model, like a lolly pop.
For me something that really throws it off, and I'm not sure if its the sculpting or the painting or a combination, but the strange apparent shape of the lips and a philtrum that it too long, thin and cursory. Aside from everything else.

It might help if there are any photos of the sculpt with more simple down lighting, as opposed to the more complex lighting arrangements most of the photos have used.

I posted this comparison of the HT Jill and Jill (which doesn't appear to be based one Julia Voth's likeness anymore) from the upcomming RE: Revelations in the RE: Revelations thread but just incase anyone missed it, I'll post it here too.

I'm wondering if maybe HT had a problem obtaining the rights to Julia Voth's likeness and instead, were givin early pics of Revelations and based her on this Jill instead, though this is pure speculation since atm there are no other real good pics of Jill from the new game and I'm only basing my assumption on these 2 pics.

Although the screenshots we have clearly look different from RE5 Jill's face model, like you say, it could be the limitations of the screenshots, or the graphics capabilities of the 3DS.

The reverse could be like you say, or the developers changed Jill's face and Capcom wanted the HT figure to reflect that.

Or we may be giving HT too much credit, I dunno. Early to tell I think.

Hm, but they are making a RE5 line and not a RE:R line right. But the likeliness of the new pic and the current proto looks close so you guys just might be right...

I think the new pic isn't a good choice to use as a comparison with the HT sculpt. Why? Because it's small pic that is of questionable quality and at a bad angle. Also, it's indicative of a game that may be nowhere near being finished, not to mention the character models in these pics are obviously of a lower fidelity than the PS3/XB360 RE5 character models.

Well you guys are right about the character models being lesser quality, but Chris in Revelations, looks exactly like he did in RE5. But yeah as I said this is pure speculation on my part based only on that one pic so I could be miles off. I just thought the similarities to the pic of Jill from Revelations and the current HT Jill sculpt were worth pointing out.

Eh, hasn't even been three months since the announcement. We got a ways to go. We'll prob see her near the end of September.

no link , and she's not out yet, maybe its the initial prototype so no changes have been made to that version.
