Agreed. The original proto alone is a good figure and the headsculpt began to grow on me, but the pics posted by Eddie Wong, I'm just not as impressed as I'd like to be. I'm still stoked for this figure mind you, but it's sad that HT didn't do better (which we all know they could have). The same happened with Sheva, the proto pics made her look really good but once the actuall figure was released, was a bit of a let down. Right now the Berserker Pred has kicked Jill off as my most anticipated figure.

I'm still irritated that the HT Black Widow's face looks more like Jill and Jill does.

I just read the comments on Eddie Wong's site as I forgot to before. He says

"The Biohazard/Resident Evil series. I’ve never been a fan of this series of figures because, although impressive, they’re just not life like. This is obviously because the series is based off a video game.

Unfortunately, my photos of this figure turned out crap. The figure is actually quite nice and I was unable to do it justice.

Jill Valentine will be released in September 2010 for ¥18,900."

The figure in SDCC's HT display is still a prototype. I don't think there would be any difference between it and what we've been seeing previously, in terms of quality. That being said, I am a bit miffed that they have made no changes to the head sculpt.

We won't actually see the final product until it releases and collectors start taking their own pics.
