Did they say they will remake robocop 1 or robocop 2. Because robocop 2 had more of a blue color versus part one. Cain is from robocop 2 so it might be part 2 robocop.
The original hot toys version were from part 1 and the flight pack was part 3. So let's hope it will be the part 2 version that's more blue then silver.

Green lantern is cancelled! what´s next... Robocop?

HK Figure Club interviewed Howard Chan recently. Here are the highlights of the interview :

-Hot Toys will launch 7 or 8 characters from The Avengers.
-Hulk is in progress, the body will not be fully Rubber.
-Black Widow will have a new body and hair are sculpted.
-Loki suit will be the one of The Avengers, the Thor Suit Version was canceled.
-Captain America Golden Age Version is still scheduled.
-Tony Stark Race Suit Version and Whiplash Armor Version have been set aside because of an overloaded schedule.
-The X-Men First Class range is almost complete, it will be announced soon.
-The license Green Lantern was canceled.
-The licences of Iron Man 3, Superman Man Of Steel and Wolverine will be exploited.
-The next Star Wars figures should be Anakin and Han Solo, followed by a character from Episode II.
-Rambo or Rocky should be a DX but are not yet in production.

Kinnaman is stepping into Peter Weller's metallic shoes and presumably his metallic helmet, but one thing he's emphasizing is that this RoboCop will look and move differently.



When I asked how much of him we were actually going to be able to see, Kinnaman didn't hesitate.

"We'll see me," he promises. "The visor's gonna be see-through. It's going to be much more of a human performance. There's not going to be any twitchy robot [he mimics very mechanical robotic moves]. Our vision of how a robot is going to be in 2046, it's going to be a very human skin, it's gonna look very human. I'm going to be able to put my signature on the body language, too. The first 'RoboCop' movie is one of my favorite movies. I've seen that movie probably 15 or 20 times. But from an acting standpoint, walking around just moving your jaw, it's not so interesting. So this is going to be an opportunity to really bring a full performance to it."

I don't believe it will be canceled at all, but then again until yesterday no license had even been canceled with a figure count of zero, so it's all unknown from here on out if a license announcement means figures will be made at all.

I Wonder how they'll deliver this in terms of accessories, headsculpts, Battle-Damge ect...

There's quite a few options to choose from

@Perfection, this license isn't for the new film but for the Second film, so the new film has no bearing on this one

Yeah, awful at first sight. We'll see the teaser/trailer for a final judgment.
Still, this won't change HT's strategy regarding the first two Robocop movies IMO.

@Nova : I'm more concern with the body of Robocop. I want a NECA (shape) with Hot Toys' refinements.
