My decision to buy the Disguise version over the regular/deluxe version of Jyn was two fold:

1) The head sculpt looked better in the initial pics.
2) Without Cassian, the Disguise version would display better with K2S0.

Not sure now about #1 but #2 still seems right to me.

I just got an email that says it’s still slated for the 25th and to have my funds available. So maybe they’re split shipments? I’m not sure why they delayed some and shipped others.

The paint is very slightly different - in a good way I think, and her eyes are looking to one side instead of straight ahead, which again looks better

I think these were probably produced in the levels that current HTs are made, we just have three certainly of Jyn to choose from so they are moving a bit slower.

Picked it up yesterday . The regular Jyn was there, but I think one Jyn is enough, and this one is the tonic.
First impressions are that the costume looks a little baggy, but that might not prove to be the case once I’ve properly set it up.
In hand, it’s light, but that’s to be expected. Looking forward to seeing it in daylight.

Well it’s almost daylight...
I used the knee pads to pull the costume in a bit, and it looks better than I first thought. I do like the look of this figure though, and it poses (as seen in previous photos) really easily.



Up close, it holds its own I think.

My Jyn Disguise arrived early an hour ago. I don't have time to take any pictures but it looks good!
One thing though, the hair color is darker than my Deluxe Jyn.
It is a little light on accessories especially after getting the Deluxe, but I love the look of the costume and helmet. They really should've included a feature to pull the visor up with her eyes underneath, but still a great figure.

Perhaps they thought slightly darker hair would go better with the black armour ;-) Then again perhaps they lightened the hair from a certain time point due to all the comments ? We'll probably never know.

Yeah there seems to be a general feeling that the later batch of the normal jyn had lighter hair than initial ones. I really like this version as it reminds me of the single player campaign in the upcoming battlefront 2 game

I was looking at them side by side and thought that they were different in hand, then took both heads off and scrutinized them more closely, they're 100% identical. Because of the transparency of the plastic, the light and shadow can reveal sculptural details not seen from a subtle turn of the sculpt. That is to say having them side by side under the same light they'll look a little different, but by turning both heads and looking for the detail to reveal itself, they're actually the same sculpt.

I really love both looks and can't choose which one I prefer at the moment.

I was in the same position, got the delay email a while ago from sideshow.

Having looked at the recent comments in this thread about Jyn now shipping

I signed into my sideshow account, went into modify order, pay off balance.

Fedex has now picked up my parcel!

Another good Jyn.

Albeit minimalist compared to the Deluxe. The only thing you have to do to her is turn the elastic inside out at the bottom of the legs so that they blouse over the boots.

Being Spooktacular, can't waste too much time posing and futzing this week,.

The hair is slightly darker than on the Deluxe. That is, the brown highlighting isn't as light as it is on my Deluxe.

Haven't decided whether to leave her with the helmet on. It frees up a head, so if I can find a good use for it I will.

I had a hell of a time trying to capture these on film. The black costumes, the lights, my camera, all of it made it difficult.
