The gloves really do look so much better. Shame there isn't the belt resting option or a second closed fist. It would probably be asking a lot for the arms crossed pose too.

Woah... I was so close to canceling my BBTS order thinking the Sideshow would convert. So glad I kept it. This is the Vader I've wanted for so long. The Jedi Killer/ANH Vader. Well, until we see ESB and ROTJ Versions. Can't wait to see if Hot Toys offers anything extra.

I also jumped on right after it went to wait list. I've very rarely been on wait lists at SSC, but I thought once it went to "sold out" your wait list reservation would almost certainly NOT convert? I'll cross my fingers also, just in case!

I think the product run is low on this is because, they already have anh Vader that still in stock and not expecting high demand on another Vader.

Really nice vader where 'for me' the gloves,chest/shoulder armor and 'better fitting' suit are the big improvements over the ANH version. Chest box is better scaled but the slot/buttons are now smaller compared to the ANH version which is odd! Helmet/mask sculpts are identical bar new paint apps. My few nitpicks are the pleated robe,newly sculpted but ill-fitting boot armor and stiil no light-up red button on the belt boxes! Oh and no force choke hand! Other than that it's the best 'straight out of the box' vader so far..

Can't wait for mine! It's coming to me today. I'm glad I cancelled my waitlist and I went ahead with buying one off eBay.

Yeah nice pics Matrix! And I like how you've tried to mess up the tunic a bit and not have it lay so clean and neat (since it never appeared that way in the movie). I wonder if a water treatment might help as well, to get it to cling tighter to the armor?

And I agree about the chest box, but still prefer the overall larger size of it in the end. Since it was pretty darn big in RO and ANH.

That's what I did and I'm glad I did too. I really wanna pose him more and post more pics but I'm in the middle of packing for a move. But hopefully i'll have time this weekend. It's hard to walk past him and not sit down and mess with him. And I have to mention the cape. It feels so incredible, very great quality and very heavy. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this Vader. He's so BA.

Nah, they'll definitely do another run on this. Put yourself in HT shoes just for a minute.

Before Rogue One release no-one really knew if R1 would be popular or not. Therefore, business sense says play it safe and do not over produce too many figures (also considering how many Vaders there are out there already). Now after release, the movie is great, Vader kicked a#$e, and fans love the R1 Vaderfigure. Would you do another run ? Would you consider doing a light up Special version based on the hardware you have from the ANH version ? Hell yes !

It's a no brainer people.

Thanks...Yeah i might try water or steam on the robe but it's hard to get it to sit flat due to the stitching on the shoulders...

I'm surprised this went to "sold out." With Knightmare Batman once that went sold out, there were still some conversions for those who hopped on soon enough so I'll wait but if it doesn't then I'll just wait for ESB.

Is anyone else's shoulder armor sitting angled out above the chest box after putting the robes under? It's not by much but the front end. Here's a pic of mine, the shoulder armor is not flush to the chest like my ANH one.

Out of town right now but it's something that's bothering me thinking about it.

Edit: maybe it's normal
