Maybe someone should send the Emperor to T-squared for his Anakin eye touch-up.

How can I get in touch with him. I’m interested in getting Palpatine’s eyes painted.

I just can't wrap my mind around the emperor without his throne. I understand the gripes about the inherent problems with posing a plastic action figure in a plastic chair but for me he has to at least be standing next to it.

Yeah, I felt the same way. Until the Ultimate Posing Challenge was in front of me... and I failed.

I got worn out trying to make it work - "His black robe blends in with the black throne... I'll lean him forward so you can see him... nope, then there's that goofy grin and his head bangs on the throne roof... I'll angle him back more... ugh, the hands look huge now and he's got the watching-the-game look... oh, that looks better... ugh, feet are an inch off the floor, I'll pull the robe down to cover them... argh, now the robe's unnaturally tight and it doesn't fully cover his feet anyway..." It was like this for days.

How can I get in touch with him. I’m interested in getting Palpatine’s eyes painted.

I agree that the throne is frustrating. I think a mod needs to be done to cut down the base it sits on. This way the chair would be closer to the ground allowing his feet to touch. However I will say this...I love the throne and to me it's worth having even if it's used as a back drop behind him. Take a look at these pics I took. I think The Emperor overall looks better posed standing and having the throne looming in the background. After all, there were many scenes with him standing in the throne room like this with the chair empty so still movie accurate.

Hands are about 10% oversized. Actually, they are 5-10% larger than Tarkin's hands, and many people said Tarkin's hands were oversized, and Tarkin is a bit taller figure (though is quite slender vs Palps' bulky robes.)

HT seems to be doing oversized hands quite a bit these days - it used to be something Sideshow did frequently.

I haven't had the chance to experience "the struggle". I have two on order from separate retailers but haven't heard anything.

I might display Palpie standing next to the throne when he arrives. We'll see how well I can manage put him on the throne and how good he looks that way.

I've decided to do some mods. I am going to work on the robe and make it fit more natural looking. I am going to replace the hands and repaint them to match along with repainting his face to add more depth and color. Finally I am going to mod the chair base to sit a little lower that will hopefully solve the feet not reaching issue.

I’m seeing a lot of pics where the hood is showing too much forehead. With Palps you’ve gotta give him a triangular frame on the hood. Can it be done? I first pointed the hood is too small but with cutting the stitching is it possible? Is there wiring in the hood?
