$269 for Emp with throne def is a solid price. I would purchase that.

I'm just scared when it comes to large scale "accessories" or dio pieces. The throne without a doubt is going to be a large piece. Even though it's mostly just a shape with some little greeblies and hopefully some light fx.... when things are big.. the prices tend to go big.

What do you think is more valuable in this case? Two figures, like what we got in the the Snowtrooper set $369, or a figure and a large accessory? If you think of it that way, $270 seems like it would be fair....

bb8 add on is a good comparison. But remember, this throne is going to be pretty huge. BB8 though much more tooling required and details etc, was relatively small. BIG things for some reason have big price tags :( but I definitely hope it's treated this way, because this chair isn't a big screen character, it's just a chair....

Hot Toys, if you're listening... I wouldn't pay $350. $260 is reasonable. And I also feel like you should drop a Slave Leia on us, because that would be epic an unexpected.

Because Hot Toys or Sideshow reads these forums to set price points. If they do, SS giving everyone the big ole middle finger with their pricing looking at you Rogue Luke 👍

A few more days and we should have better idea what to expect

I like the price you guys are suggesting, but i highly doubt the figure & chair would be less than $300 in todays marketing.
The Sideshow exclusive emperor and chair commanded over $300 each on the secondary market at times. Again, i hope your right.

They do. At least Sideshow does. Within days of someone posting that wobbly stands could be fixed by unscrewing a screw, Sideshow actually stopped shipping replacement stands and sent reply emails instructing to unscrew the screw. Coincidence?

That said, I don't believe they use us as a guide for pricing. But still, why 'wish' for higher prices...?

I mentioned using the board for price setting, I know they have (maybe continue) visiting the boards for other reasons?

In regards to price, I haven't stated I'd be willing to pay $350....I simply don't think it's coming in under $350 ($229 figure / $125 Throne).

Throne is a nice to have piece for the collection and if the price is right I'll buy it. I am in the camp of charging $270 so I would buy both just not certain it's realistic

Yeah I'm sure not wishing for anything higher than $299 at most. If it's higher I'll probably just pass. It's basically just a chair so I don't feel like paying too high a price for it, unlike BB-8 who was only $60 more. I know it'll make a great looking display though. If I have to go without it he can still be displayed standing with his cane or possibly with force lightning.

I think many would feel the same and would feel that anything over $299 is an easy pass. Even that price would be only considerable at best.

I don't think I'd bite at $300.

Depending on the difference of course, and whether the chair lights up or not, but in most cases I'd prefer to display my Emperor standing next to Vader anyway, so the chair itself creates a different display than I would prefer. But if the figure looks better seated -- or slouched -- then I might change my mind.

That chair is a space killer though.

Think this will be the same as Hot Toy's Space Captain Harlock figure. $249.99 for the figure on it's own or $419.99 with throne. That's a couple of years ago and the throne had no light function. Thanos was also $419.99 which included a throne.

I think the throne is cool just because when I think of the Emperor from the Original Trilogy I think of the throne room duel scenes in which he's obviously sitting in it for most of it. Realistically though thinking more about it I don't need it for my display necessarily if I don't get another Vader which I'm leaning towards not doing.

Im being very serious and sincere when I say I'm not sure HT will bother with a throne knowing Jazzinc is putting one out.

Will probably pass, the Emperor isn't exactly aesthetically pleasing, plus I bet he'll be overpriced. Will most likely get one of those Royal Guards though.

$299 is already more than I'd want to spend too. That price even kept me from buying ANH Darth Vader, a character I like way more. Though at the time I wasn't willing to go that much, but I've since gone pass $300 with Iron Man and War Machine. But there or anything higher is most likely a pass, then I'd just go with a standard version without the throne if anything. Money saved there at least.

Yep same here. That will definitely take up room. My current shelf with 1/6 figures is already filled up on each level. Gotta get a new shelf soon. So space, on top of price, may keep me from wanting the throne.
