Are the shoulder bells removable? The film Cody has raised shoulder bells, giving him a football player sort of look, that was unique to his armor. I wonder if it'd be easy enough to raise them with some material or padding.

Is anyone else annoyed that SSC and HT both painted the helmet's chin stripe gray instead of black like the film? They copied specific weathering marks from the film Cody, yet the very noticeable vertical grille or stripe in his chin is the wrong colour.

Hopefully the tight hands won?t be an issue on later batches of the figure. I have a few payments left so I won?t have it until later.

Shoulder bells have foam under them already so I assume you can add more to raise them even higher. They are easy enough to shift around.

Ah, interesting to hear. I may try that when the figure shows up here in the next few days (fates willing). The dropped shoulders are the only consistent thing I see in photos that stands out to me, though not in yours. Hope it helps.

Yeah, I just pushed the chest plate down and pulled the shoulder bells up, basically what anyone would do while futzing.

The armor is held sturdily in place in most parts. Only the elbows and biceps did I notice things could twist and turn and you need to adjust accordingly.

This Cody figure rocks!

Had none of the issues mentioned other than Made in China.

Really love this figure. I did notice that he feels a bit short in hand... but then, how tall is Cody supposed to be? Boba Fett was short. Jango was eye-level with Obi-Wan. Both are 5 foot 9 inches or so. Cody scales up to about 5 foot 10... so it is accurate... I just always imagined the clones, like Stormtroopers, to be an even 6 foot.

This 3rd pic looks like it could be a screen shot. Looks great with the shoulders and chest piece futzed.

I’ve been seeing others with shoulder joint issues as well. Is that a wide spread problem?

I was going to place some soft foam underneath his left shoulder bell to raise it like yours but i'm afraid the tension you are placing on the elastic strap on the shoulder bell will eventually cause that strap to unglue and pop off. :gah:

You really got to raise that bell quite alot for it to properly line up with his traps it really stretches that strap to the max

I will have to live with my Cody who doesn't know how to properly wear armor.

Just as an aside, the smaller blaster rifle [DC-15? Please dont kill me, my SW weapons knowledge is incomplete] fits nicely in the right hand, with no gapping issues.

One good thing about these super-tight hands, once you get a weapon placed it wont go flying across the room if you so much as breathe on the figure.

Oh wow so right hand with the shorter rifle fits nicely that is good to hear.

That's the weird thing with the left hand it was super hard to get it into his hand YET the rifle still rests not fully and correctly grabbed by the entire hand so it can still easily fall out.

That left grip hand is weird lol

Well it makes sense that the left hand is more stiff than the right. I doubt Clone Troopers were allotted much time to be with women. They probably had some business to take care of after surviving some stressful battles. You said it yourself, Cody's right hand worked better with the...short rifle.

Serious props to Hot Toys for their attention to detail on this figure.

You won freaks today. Well played sir...

Well, I am experiencing the nightmare others have experienced.

FedEx has lost my package with Cody and Solo Maul. It was marked as ready for pick up (I never have delivery to the house...always lost or damaged) and I have gone there for the last three days and no sign of it.

Since it was marked as delivered to the pick up point, it's going to take awhile if at all for them to find it.

Not fun. At all. I now know how this has felt to other collectors who have had this happen.

It is indeed an incredibly frustrating experience...and nobody else seems to care but you. I have had it happen with UPS, FedEx, and USPS. The only place that totally burned me has been USPS, they are truly awful to deal with. Ultimately they will tell you "yeah we lost it, and we don't care enough to do anything about it". You probably still have some hope with FedEx, but in my personal experience UPS is the better of the three when it comes to tracking and finding lost stuff. Good luck!

Now FedEx is claiming that the pickup window had expired despite the fact it was never delivered to the pickup location. So...they are claiming that it has been returned to the sender.
I contacted BBTS to be on the lookout for it and to let me know if/when it arrives back to them.

At this rate it may be the end of January before I see this and one can only guess what shape the package will be in after being flung back and forth across the country.

Not having anything else shipped until this is resolved.

Ugh.

SS is sending me a replacement body for my shoulder issue. Hope then I can finally enjoy Cody:pray:

Ugh, sucks to hear about that.

This stuff is happening far more frequently nowadays.
