Thank for the reminder I had forgotten about Jag but he still got less words than Cody lol and at least the emperor addressed Cody by his name :yess:

Rex in ROTS where?

Bly is there but I don’t remember seeing Rex especially not getting the order from the emperor.

Rex is not in ROTS. He must be referring to the end of the The Clone Wars cartoon trying in to Palps giving order 66.

I really wonder why none of the reviewers were experiencing the same problems.

Are the quality fluctuations so big?

I'm wondering the same thing ...do a YouTube search for him and a good-sized list of reviews comes up...I've watched a number of them and the only common complaint is no holsters for the pistols and some complaints about the switch-out arm.

I wonder if most of the reviews featured figures from a "first batch". Scary thought if most figures hitting now are from a subsequent quality-riddled batch...

I sure hope not.

Most reviewers on YouTube have no idea about the character they are reviewing half the time.

Point taken. Something to be said for a little research before reviewing. Have heard more than one of them say What is this? for some easily identified accessories. But they're usually not shy about pointing out problems and there really haven't been any compared to what we're reading in here.

Did anyone notice the shoulder issue in any of the blogger photos early on?

I don't think this is batch 2...yet. More likely Batch 2 (or v2) will solve/fix the shoulder problem.

It's possible this is batch 2. Cody was released in Hong Kong in September and pictures were showing up shortly after. There was a wave of people who got these from Sideshow in early November. The December crowd seems to be pointing out all of these issues, so maybe batch 2 is the problem.

So the v2 is inferior?

Must have been an incredibly small batch for v1. Like a tester run.

Is this the shoulder issue...

I think the high neck bugs me more.

So id like to give my opinion on this figure. I'm not sure what body hot toys used under the suit but it's not a good figure for a clone trooper. I recently had to send my figure back to sideshow for a replacement. while posing the figure the left shoulder broke inside the suit. someone on FB said that the figure came with special instructions that stated that the figure has limited articulation and cannot put his arms out in front. If this is the case why would they make a figure that shoots pistols not be able to put his arms out in front? Im waiting for my figure to return so if anyone can check the instructions and confirm or deny the articulation claim id appreciate it.

LIST OF PROBLEMS for HT CODY (for internet search optimization)

Right arm falls off
Loose armor
Dweeb shoulders
Guns do not fit in hands
Left shoulder antenna falls out
Cannot hold helmet under his arm (for long, it falls... then loose antennae breaks)
Looks like Tom Cruise
wobbly left should joint
folding stock won't open all the way
Shoulder straps sit high
Made in China

Anything else?

Late to the party.i've had mine for awhile just opened for a peak. Anyone mention the scale to SS clones? Looks like a Medicom to SS

Hot toys has way more figures that can’t do what they are supposed to do than ones that can.

For crying out loud HT took the 2 most flexible superhero characters ever created, Spiderman and Black Panther, and made them straight up statues in action figure form

Good luck posing those 2 like they are in the movies and comics lol

Since when did HT posing engineering become this prominent thing.

HT are all about aesthetics it needs to look screen accurate on the outside in a static straight pose at the expense of articulation all the time every time.

If you don’t like fat suits or outer material that can easily stick, pinch, tear, crease, crack or come loose you are buying from the wrong company.

LOL at people paying top dollars for Mando then breaking him apart to replace the fat suit.

If you want HT to stop using a fat suit the solution is to not buy their product then spend more money to fix their product engineering fails.

The solution is to just stop buying their products.

What do they care if you changed the fat suit they got their money.

Hold on let me knowingly buy a $300 action figure with a fat suit and another suit ontop of the fat suit and then complain about it not being able to pose. :slap
