Looking forward to Spiderman!! But, even looking more forward to the Avengers getting made!!:hi5:

head swapping all the way. Full mask. Torn mask, and maskless.

take it a step further, and give us a cloth mask he can hold, be posed putting on/taking off.

I'm sure thats what they will do. I would prefer seamless but I highly doubt thats what they will do.

Spidey is popular no doubt. Just not top dog for me.

  1. Iron Man
  2. Wolverine
  3. Captain America
  4. Thor
  5. Spiderman
  6. The Hulk

Great f'n line-up. If HT makes a figure of each in various configs, I'll buy them all.

Same here. Already got the Iron Man and Wolverine stuff just give me the rest.

It would be. It will happen someday for The Hulk and I'm sure they have something in the works for Thor's movie next summer.

i hope its not like DX batman!-rubber suit with little articulation! spidey needs to be able to do all those crouching/action poses!

Gonna be a cloth outfit and body most likely something similar to what we saw with Whiplash/Wolverine.

Really doubt that, as those bodies CAN'T ull off the poses spider-man is known for.

Expect some hybrid of the Slim body and the advance.

but Basically Standard body with standard joints, as NONE will be exposed.

I haven't tried with mine but I don't see why they couldn't. Its just basically sleeves over the forearms, chest, and biceps. The leg don't have them I don't believe at least on Whiplash I don't think so. There is nothing over the joints of the figures leaving those to have full range of movement.

Having said all that it does look like in that pic its a body not having those parts.

Trust me, the wolverine/dutch/comedian bodies are lacking in articulation compared to the regular bodies.

They need double jointed elbows, and shoulders with a wider arc of articulation.

Those bodies work well enough for someone like wolverine, but even then, they still come up a little short.

Yeah I would like to see a modified HT Slim for this guy

He needs to be more articulated than any other figure out there imo

Throw all the joints neccessary on this new body for me as its going to be covered up anyways! We are going to want to put this guy through some pretty tough poses and I am not sure at present there is a nude that can achieve the poses I have in mind

Dutch does for sure cause its a full rubber body. Comedian, Wolverine, and Whiplash aren't the same. Though I'm sure there is a small bit of articulation loss in there someplace.

However, they do it I just want it to looks good. Pick a body that gives good articulation but doesn't look cheap underneath the outfit.

When i said Dutch, i meant the t-800.. I referred to it as Dutch, as i Swapped my dutch to one :LOL

for examples on the lost articulation, try to put wolverine, or Whiplash into a T pose, OR try to put either of their arms into greater than a 90 degree bend at the elbow.

I know that might not seem like much, but on a Character like spider-man, you need every bit of articulation you can get, and then alot more.

Unless a figure is going to have significant ammounts of the upper body showing, I think they should stick with traditional TTs, and so far, for the most part, they have. T-800 was a muscle body, T-1000 is just a basic TT.

I'm sure spide will be a standard TT, they've added muscular form to those bodies too, enough to make the suit look fine streteched over it.

As has been pointed out, while better than the old muscle bodies like Rambo, the new ones are still limited in articulation compared to a standard body, so unless you need to see realistic body parts, why use those.
