Got ya. Was gonna say. :lol

Like I said I'm sure there is some loss of articulation. However, I'm willing to give some of that up for something that looks nice. I don't want something cheap looking like the Medicom figure. Aim for something closer to that custom piece.

Unless a figure is going to have significant ammounts of the upper body showing, I think they should stick with traditional TTs, and so far, for the most part, they have. T-800 was a muscle body, T-1000 is just a basic TT.

I'm sure spidey will be a standard TT, they've added muscular form to those bodies too, enough to make the suit look fine streteched over it.

As has been pointed out, while better than the old muscle bodies like Rambo, the new ones are still limited in articulation compared to a standard body, so unless you need to see realistic body parts, why use those.

I just worry about if they dont do some kind of modified system with a TT for Spidey we'll get a cheap ass more expensive Medicom Version. I'd bet HT has something like this planned which I think aims more like that custom.

As to why use those? Like I said I want these to look nice on display not a cheap ass toy.

Im from the school of thought that if I don't see it then its not a problem. The TrueType would be ideal with this one a couple of modifications. For one I would like to see them use the smaller true type with muscles from the advanced. Peter is small and it would be great if they kept the scale accurate. The other would be a modified neck of some kind. The TT are good but the head neck areas are designed for layers of clothing and it wont work with Spidey. Also if his neck is a exposed on an unmasked head it would be great to have a real looking neck instead on the insert, but that's minor.

Gonna bet now that it's going to be a TT slim, with muscular arms, and thighs like the TTA, with new sculptural upper chest.

I don't think you'll really be able to tell what the body is like underneath, you just need a bit of form to the parts instead of the more tubular look the arms in particular used to have. They've shown with their latest TT's that even those are getting defined biceps and such. If they do the suit on the thicker side, it should look fine.

I agree you want the figure to look best, but with a character like Spiderman, I think the difference you'd see between a standard TT and a muscle TT would be little enough to make going the more articulated route the best. I think the only place you'd really spot a better look to the musle body versus a TT would be the elbows. The torso and arms should pretty much look the same no matter.

I'd wager if nothing else, the forearms would be the slim style to keep the foreams slim looking enough in the suit, like they did with T-1000.

i think the suit should be the same as blades tight fitting velvety t-shirt vest! hides those horrid joints well with no loss of articulation!

Needs to be this end of!

Sad that that's actually still a better movie Spidey than this was, even though this was newer.

That is definitely one of the best, but I don't like how tall the webbing is on the body. And not a fan of the hands either, but the legs and feet are brilliant.

Can you explain this please? I don't understand what you mean by this

This is what I'm talking about. Aim to be more like this. It looks good which is I'm sorry the most important thing (at least for me). He needs to be able to do Spidey type moves of course but as I said I want him looking good on display and will sacrifice some articulation for it to look good.

Yes I have always shared the same views as you point out here

This is why I would rather have the all in one suit rather than the ugly neck seam I forsee coming :monkey4

Always about beauty first!

Is this custom? I've never seen it before.

Jeez thats tough to look at now. Very toyish. I had the entire set too ............ loved em. Times sure have changed.

Yes Roy

I seen it for the first time last night also

Apparently this guy put 2 up on ebay, not sure how long ago now but they went for around the $700 mark

Expensive but beautiful all the same

The webbing material is really thick that they are using, so its raised high off the surface of the body. Its not as noticeable on the legs and torso but it because more apparent on the head and hands. In this shot you can see how much thinner the line work is on the real suit. I think the scale of the lines is much too big is all. Im not saying it even can even be done correctly at this scale, but just a small thing that bothers me about it.

Calcifer, I think this may be your best sig yet. Wear it well :).

I kinda want a medicom black costume movie spidey....

One with broken joints would be fine. I'm gonna transplant it to a true type slim, like i did with the peter.
