Well if us "ole tymers" let TFA be shelf rot, then we can be assured that there will be little OT to rule the aisles for sure. IMO, one thing that any of these new movies, PT & Post OT, is the evolution of the troopers. These TFA designs are perfect and deserve some OT love. Should these flame troopers go on clearance, I'll be getting two more for sure! Thx for the pics.

Mine is waiting at UPS for me to pick up today....pretty sure I have zero room for him in any of my cases.

Got mine last night....anyone else notice the black paint lines on the helmet suck!!!! My lines aren't even in the groove and some of the lines aren't even consistent. Sent some pics to SS but I bet them come back and say it's typical.

Mine is already behind glass. However, I do not remember thinking that when inspecting mine.

I avoid ordering from them at all costs these days....no longer a customer friendly company

New helmet on the way...I do have to say SS has replaced every 'off' part I have sent them - Darth helmet, R2D2 'head' and now Flamethrower helmet. Not bad..and not once have they requested I destroy the defective part.

Yeah I have had good experiences with Sideshow's customer support when it comes to paint errors and the like. My HT Snowtrooper Officer had a miniscule paint error on the chest plate control panel, and they replaced it. They asked me to destroy the old part, but I'm perfectly willing to do that if I received a replacement.

A miniscule defect....

I was sorely tempted but my plans for a TFA display have taken a hit with the latest production pics of Finn. The sculpt looks soft and far from the great proto pics. Now I'm thinking of just passing on everything but Ren w/BB8 (unless HT screws up that one) and just have the Jakku and Ren to represent TFA. Easier on the wallet and allows me to continue with the OT line.

Wow. Passing on the main character in the film (and probably the trilogy)?!

I'm hoping that HT doesn't screw her up. If so, it's just Jakku trooper for me.

Yeah, I know... I like the scavenger look and all... but there's still two more films and two more "looks" so there's a good bet she'll have an outfit I like better. I don't want 3 Reys ... just one will do.... and I'm betting on the finale outfit.

Plus, I don't think TFA is selling as well as OT (clearly) and I get the sense that HT is just banging these out without much care now. Things are getting very sloppy IMHO.

Is it just me or does the neck seem to long on this guy? U can see a lot of neck when his head is turned.

Looks okay in this awesome shot. I found the snowtrooper to have a long neck (peg) though.

Got my flametrooper this morning.
Really cool design and beautifully crafted.
Sadly once again hot toys added a fatsuit that restrict the articulations.
So i started to dissassemble it to remove the fatsuit but with the body they used, a slim one, yu need the suit.
I contempled the idea to swap the body but with the way the armor chest is designed yu wont get really more articulation even if ypu remove the suit.
So i checked all the articulations and the ones that needed to be free were the shoulders and legs.
I managed to remove the armor, wich was tricky especially the 2 belts rings.
Once i got the fatsuit out i cut the shoulders and cut more inside the legs to have more range.

Now he can really move his shoulders freely and hold more dynamic poses.
