I took a punt and ordered a single from Loontentoys. He thinks he will get his stock in a couple of weeks. He has by far the best price for me with $219 shipped and I wasn't expecting a Stormtrooper until Aug anyway, so if he takes a bit longer I'm not too fussed.

I was just about to do the same. Loonetentoys is another good seller, very quick answers to questions and good packing. I was just about to pull the trigger when I rememberd the chinese new year is the 18th or something, so it might be delays there.

I prefer how the armour sits on the taller figure, it looks a bit squashed (kind of) on the smaller figure, in the mid section..., that's what made my mind up as to getting the single figure (as thankfully they went with the taller figure for the single release).

I know, but I meant the spirit of the thing. Those scenes in ROTJ are among my favorites not just because of the Vader/Emperor thing.

Yeah I thought about that, as well as I think a few boardies had to wait a while for their Robocops from him. But the way I see it, is that I wasn't expecting this fig until Aug anyway, plus I have a modded SS Stormie to stand on my shelf. It's more about the money saving really.

Woke up this morning to my shipping notice, just checked and mine have been "handed over to the air carrier"

Will hopefully have these in hand by the middle of next week

I cheaped out, I had just ordered stuff to complete a second DX13 Terminator figure so to save a little money is just what I need.

If I remember correctly they got the MMS238 I had on pre-order three weeks behind HK. Anyway a couple of weeks doesn't matter in the long run I decided. I was originally going to wait for european release so I will beat that by 8-9 months anyway. Just enough time to save up for a 2-pack.

Thanks for this info, and Yankee too. That simplifies things for me; I don't need the shorter trooper if it isn't going to be the base for a custom Stormtrooper Luke.

That's another thing; I took it in the wallet for this but ordering from Sideshow is also nasty expensive given the FedEx fees.

When I want to be sensible it makes more sense to find it locally or even buy from Asia. SSC. Is a guaranteed rogering.

That being said, I happily set some money on fire yesterday so I'll just shut my mowf.
