Paint can yellow in time too. Depending on paint, material that was put on, and other factors.

I wonder if Hot Toys will keep making Storm Troopers even though the initial runs seem to have sold out. I would guess yes since they're probably easy sellers to people who collect Star Wars figures and they appear in all of the Original Trilogy films.

Yes I agree, like white gloss I paint my doors with, drives me crazy. Though my white emulsion never yellows. Same with cars. Hopefully they used the paint that does not yellow.

They probably used that type of paint that starts to yellow right when the pre-order for the next run of HT stormtroopers goes up.

Who are you trying to kid? It's Hot Toys. If it didn't have rubber rot or other issues it wouldn't be a genuine Hot Toys product.

No. The old ones are ok. The ones released now are coming yellow from factory.

Is it alkyd? I've never seen an interior nor exterior semi-gloss latex white start to yellow, even after 20 years.
