I picturing Metallica's version of The Imperial March.

Quite a few McQuarrie designs spread out through the two episodes I've seen... it's not the greatest show ever, but it really pushes a lot of OT nostalgia buttons with the sounds and design choices.
Yeah, I kept up with the preliminary teases & reveals - & agreed, while the concept art / OT nods are nice.. show looks meh.

So much awesome in that pic
Yeah, the work is great, but the figures are kahkah. :lol

His hate has brought him here. He'll never be rid of his need to express his hate for them. He hates and loves Sideshow, just as he hates and loves himself.

Vintij's life is a sad story. Yes, Vintij is what he was once called, before Sideshow Collectibles found him, before they drove him mad.

Re: Hot Toys Stormtrooper.

Not liking the pipe cleaner legs or arms. Do like the apparent shininess. Also like the possibility these two may be different heights. Don't like the extra expense on the detailed bases - I won't use them and would rather not pay for them.

What is that other logo along with the HT logo?
Not liking the direction the post are going. Do no like the apparent picking apart of the prototype. Also like the possibility that there may be different posts to read. I don't like that i have to pay for these figures.

What is that logo on the guys glasses?

Just noticed this now. Priceless. :lol :rotfl :lol

It's been about a good 12 years since I purchased any 12" Hasbro figures. But I went through a terrible binge and got way too many. I wonder now just how many were made and how many I have? Yikes... it's like the forgotten collection.

You gotta wonder about those toy designers. I mean, were they just creating these from memory? And look at the size of those gauntlets! Did they think it was going on the legs and not the arms? Really everything is all out of proportion to each other--was it different people doing different things and they never saw or consulted on what the other was doing? :lol

I think I pretty much had every single on they made until Attack of the Clones came out.... so many. They all sit in crates and have not seen the light of day in at least a decade. Nostalgia will bring me to opening them up at some point...... I have them all stored in my mother's house - I never took them when I moved out haha.

I do not regret buying so many because I had so much fun in the process. I miss the days of hounding Toysrus and other local stores about if they got any new figures in that day. They must have gotten so annoyed with me. The thrill of the hunt is so non existent now because its all online preorders. I can't even hunt for hot toys because all the local shops command such a ridiculous markup compared to the Sideshow cost.

Besides maybe Zuckuss as people have suggested, I wonder if there are any Hasbro 12" that could truly stand with HT and fit in? Sebulba? Garindan? Maybe that Queen portrait collection doll?

I've heard terrible stories about how Mom ended up throwing out a comic book collection while her kid was in college. Be careful.
