Too bad she didn’t come with an alternate Resistance outfit from TFA so we can display her with Old Han..but this still works

Hoping we get that version at some point. I’ve always liked Leia in her “battle fatigues” outfits- makes her an even bigger badass. But let’s face it-I want ever version of Leia I can get- keep em comin hot toys!

The sculpt does look a bit improved over the proto version.

That's what I'm planning to do also but will just keep them in their regular outfits from the releases and be my EU collection. I don't have Leia preordered and will probably just pick her up way down the line. Maybe late next year during the drought of OT Star Wars figure releases.

Yeah, I just think the outfit this figure comes with is pretty drab/dull, just as Luke's TFA outfit for me is too much designed to turn him into another Ben Kenobi. This head would look amazing on an OT white gown type dress. That Leia head/dress pairing next to the Crait Luke on a ROTJ Luke body I think would really tick the box for me in terms of how the OT heroes would have looked as older people. Sort of like their OT personas but simply older. And having the TFA Han head on a ROTJ Han body with classic vest look would tie it all together with an OT collection in my mind.

I was mulling what to do with Crait Luke, and I really like the TFA Han head (other than the gold hair), so this Leia coming out so well has really crystalized a great a display I had really wanted after loving to see older Han, Luke and Leia in the ST but not liking how they were depicted.

This head has finally cleared that hurdle to a display of "generic" older OT Luke, Han and Leia using their classic outfits to separate them from the ST storylines.

Personally I thought this was a much better and more flattering outfit than her gas station attendent look.

Her blue gown was probably best of all, but she only wore that very briefly.

Still a bit too idealized for my tastes, but even so this is a big improvement over the prototype, which was so far off I wasn't even considering it. Now, though, I think I'll grab this to join old Han and old Luke on the shelf.

You know, I'm curious if it's possible the cut footage from TFA JJ said they're going to use for Leia in IX might be of her in a similar outfit to this. There were leaks from the call sheet for TFA about Leia addressing the republic/senate or something like that. I would (wishfully) think that she probably wouldn't do that in her vest/rebel outfit.

Otherwise, I'm curious what they'll do with her in IX without it being like "why is she suddenly wearing her VII clothes again?".

Yeah I think it would be odd to suddenly see her in the rebel outfit again. And her hair was a lot grayer in TLJ as well, although I suppose that would be easy enough for the CG artists to change.

Wow - she looks fantastic! It’s rare that a face sculpt is improved upon in production. She looks regal and gorgeous!

Old people. Leia, Han, Tarkin, whatever, they nail it every time. But young chick as Gadot? They need several tries to even come close to it. Oh well.

Do you mean in the movie or for the figure? Because if you mean the movie - Leia wears this during the Crait scene, it's just colored red for the posters.
