As much as I liked the visual in the movie with the red and white ground, it really seems distracting as a base and I think I'd prefer if it was just solid white instead.

If SDCC and the HongKong show are their main events. I'm still a bit amazed this wasn't shown....if anything to boost sales of other figures like their Ep8 Kylo which would surely go hand in hand with this.

We need a Travolta figure.

Ahch-to look or Crait look?

It has a very blood/horror movie look, like you took a base from a horror figure to use on your Luke. The pooled-blood-in-footprints look draws your eye away from the figure because it suggests something gruesome has just happened.

The whole visual concept on Crait was exceedingly strange - not snow, but salt - not blood, but mineral. Looks cold (and even has snow foxes) but presumably not. The guy having to taste it and say what he says is testament to the fact that they were trying to clarify what is pretty muddled.

Watched TLJ again last night. Highly anticipating this figure! I love the use of red as a theme throughout the film too; visually striking.

This looks super badass!!! Really hoping this gets announced before Kylo gets released

Re: Hot Toys - Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Luke Skywalker (Force Projection) - CONFIRM

Eighteen seconds after this figure is announced TLJ Kylo pre-oreders will sell out all over the retailer universe...

Re: Hot Toys - Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Luke Skywalker (Force Projection) - CONFIRM

I love Crait.

Everything on it, the old rusty ski-speeders, the fox, Leia and Luke, the force projection surprise, Kylo Ren and Adam Diver's performance... Chewie and the Falcon... and the ending scenes.

I stick to a fanedited cut of the movie, but Crait... yeah!!

So, I like that stand, but it is true, those footprints could be Luke's. And that's a big mistake!

Re: Hot Toys - Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Luke Skywalker (Force Projection) - CONFIRM

everyone is talking about luke reaction to the saber. my problem was Leia's reaction to Luke! Im shocked no one is talking about that. This director is a full on ******.

luke walks in, leia doesn't know its a projection. she hugs him. she feels him. but kylo cant...but whatever.

she doesn't really emote much at all, not the way i would expect. more like the way you hug someone at a funeral.

oh yeah and for good measures, he gives leia the dice and she leaves them behind. they must be really important to her. *****.

this whole movie was written like the way someone would write who has zero understanding or respect for the source material. and dont even get me going on that massive C--- Kennedy. As much as we complained about the prequels, i think Lucas would have done a far better job with these. this new clown ryan johnson deserves to be slapped across his face so hard it knocks him out.

Luke and Leia don't hug. She also knows he's a projection when he gives her the dice. Watch her face when they "touch" hands. The dice were a projection as well. Maybe Luke even wanted them on the floor for Kylo to find, who knows... but that's why they fade at the end, they're not real.

If you're gonna try to insult the actual people working on the movie that much, at least make arguments about things that actually happened in the movie and not just make **** up that didn't even happen to complain about. Even if any of that had happened (which it didn't), kinda childish to call writers/directors/employees ****s, ******* and say they should be physically attacked because you didn't like a fictional movie, don't ya think?

But just to clarify, if Leia knows he's a projection (and therefore presumably in on Luke's plan) then why does she stand there watching Luke's walk out/Kylo face-off with all the other slack-jawed idiots... when the Luke's plan was a distraction to allow the rebels to escape?

If Leia knows, then why does it take Poe's revelation later ("He's doing this for a reason. He's stalling so we can escape") to figure the whole thing out and actually say they should escape? Doesn't this make Leia out to be an ***** if she's known all along and doesn't lead everyone out?:dunno

There's quite a few things in SW movies that don't make sense but for me pretty much everything on Crait made no sense at all, both big and small ideas, so I'm always curious as to how people took in and accepted these things.

And back on topic... why do they make a joke out of Leia changing her hair when Luke has changed his hair (and beard) even more obviously?:lol

So that audience wouldn't catch on, likely.

Re: Hot Toys - Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Luke Skywalker (Force Projection) - CONFIRM

Because it’s a movie. Literally every movie has a why didn’t he/she just do this moment.

Hot Toys - Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Luke Skywalker (Force Projection) - CONFIRMED

After watching the movie again last night, I’d like to clarify my perspective. Leia is so powerful with the force that she created a force space suit. Therefore, she definitely knew Luke was projecting and she may actually be the one who projected the dice Kylo found after Luke becomes one with the force. She comments on her hair because (according to the projection) she sees Luke hasn’t changed a bit since she last saw him. Luke showed Leia the dice to represent that Han is with them. She wants Kylo to see the dice also to remind him of his father. Luke and Leia do seem sad (like at a funeral) and that’s because it’s their first communication since Han’s death and maybe their last.
Also, Poe has basically been being groomed throughout the movie to one day lead the resistance. Leia gives Poe the opportunity to lead in this moment of despair. She even says, “What are you looking at me for?” when the rebels look to her for permission to follow Poe.
