For some, they've been wanting a Chris Reeve Superman of this caliber for 30+ years. If they can make it that long without _____ing and moaning. Why do some of you guys insist on complaining after a little over 8 months? So, they missed their target reveal date. Patience is a virtue, people, and in due time, it shall be rewarded.

Those that are speculating it's a licensing or legal thing - I highly doubt it. Cinemaquette, mattel and DC Direct have all released items with the Reeve likeness and only one was even close. So it seems the estate will approve just about anything - so that can't be it.

It could be HT wants it to be perfect and haven't hit it yet - but I find that difficult to believe too.

I am thinking the later (HT sculpt). The female sculptor stated in an article awhile back she could finish a sculpt in 3 weeks (give or take). Plenty of time since the announcement to have oodles of sculpts.

The only other item (but conflicts with teaser coming in winter) is they are holding it for SDCC

i would like to know what exactly is going on, i believe that a "guy" from HT would know about this thread or the "urgency" from the fans to at least give us a hint of what is going on with this figure!? i know they dont have the obligation but releasing an Indiana Jones, J.Sparow and others....even two Bruce Lee's or not putting a promotion in the December celebration or even presenting Arnie as a Sculptor, i just dont know it feels weird and i dont believe in any of it i can bet that a Chris Reeve Supes could sell more than Indiana or Jack Sparow, i bet that Supes would sell out and they would have to do another run from this guy!

If I had to make a guess at the reason for delay, it would be that they are making a new body for the figure and it's not ready yet. That's what I hope anyways.
