We asked Arnie some news about Superman Hot Toys. Here is his answer :

the reason that I am waiting for Superman is,

Hottoys has lots of project which is waiting for releasing. hence, we have to consider all the schedules.

it has to be polished even sculpture is finished. such as cosutme, body, package desi...gn, confirmation from Warner and etc.

it take time more than audience think, it is al the same like another projects.

please wait more, until Superman releasing, my dear fans ^^

Nice to hear something...I am getting really sick of people spamming HT's Facebook page about Superman every time they make any kind of announcement at all. I'm looking forward to Bats 89 the most this year.

Then they never should have said anything if they weren't ready to release the product in a timely manner.

As you see all that does is build up fans who have waited for something like this for more then 30 years and are rabid for this. This is a different animal then what they are used to I'm sure.

Oh, he has some talent for sculpting certain faces. More than I ever will. But he also has a talent for blowing deadlines and making projects take forever.

Bruce Lee took 3 years??? I think that would take the satisfaction out of buying or owning the figure.

As I've already pointed out I've made (bad) buying decisions waiting for this figure and that p-sses me off. If this figure is re-scheduled I wish they would give a target date or quarter.

"my dear fans" ...what an arrogant guy. He is so overrated. He was about to ruin the Indiana Jones Dx. He is a mediocre sculptor and should have never been hired by HT. Yulli should have sculpted this one.
