It's really all about how you pose the figure. The images on TNI are pretty poorly posed.

I don't know about you, but that is worth $60 to me. Toys are just pricey these days anyways, obviously this feels like it might be more of a $30-$40 maybe. But I'd say its not as bad as the TNI photos.
I'm just excited to get a decent Reeve Superman before Hot Toys version comes out.

Only a fool would comment about something nodody's seen first hand yet. I can't tell you how many times morons have said the Indy, and Smuggler Han sculpts are off. In reality they couldn't be more perfect. While I'm not saying it is, this might be a similar case.

Well if you have seeing the pictures posted here you'll noticed that the bone structure is totally off and without any details whatsoever, so thats my point of view i hope you respect it, and please don't use insults on this thread...and in this case is not a similar case, the sculpts of both Han´s have potential since day one (prototype) the only problem was the cheap paint-work they applied on the mass production figures. Matty collector will never reach "for now" that quality.

What I've seen is slathered in cheap factory paints. It's kinda hard to determine ANYTHING based on those pics. As I stated previous, there have been MANY people who've said that the headsculpts mentioned prior are off and it's solely based on ____ty factory paint apps. I haven't seen an unpainted prototype sculpt here yet of this figure (the way you're flapping your gums I'm guessing there was one posted?), so based on what I'm seeing, I can't make a statement either way suffice to say that I can tell who it's supposed to be, and for a $60 figure, it's not the fodder some HT pole squatters are making it out to be. Is it HT quality? ____ no. Not even close, but I wouldn't expect it to be either. I would expect it to be about $10 over 1/3 the quality of anything HT will offer, and it looks to be just about on par with that.

As for the countdown, it's just a speculation and wishful thinking from JRL, that Hot Toys will announce something when the countdown expires.

Have you guys seeing the comments on HT facebook about the TRON: Legacy: 1/6th scale Kevin Flynn Collectible Figure? it seems everyone is dying for the reveal of the Supes figure

No matter what HT show there, they get nagged about ol' Kal-El. When they do show the specs, I'll actually feel like I'm dreaming seeing such a high calibre representation of Chris Reeve on the screen. And it might be in the next two weeks.

I will actually be looking at a closeup of the sculpt, and get that warm feeling inside that I haven't gotten in a while from a HT figure. It's Chris Reeve!!! The only thing that could top it for me would be a Keaton Bat...which I hope HT have in the pipeline too. The fans cried out for it when that damn teaser went up a while back.

I was just looking at some of the scenes in the first two films where Chris plays both Clark and Superman at the same time with just a look, or a smile, or a change of posture. He took the source material so seriously, and that is why his legacy endures.

Key moment is when in Lois' apartment in the first one. Not when the glasses come off, but that whole change in stature and look when they do. Brilliant.

I love that one. But my favorite is in Superman 2 when he drops his glasses in the fire, fumbles about, then walks off, his posture straightens, and he turns around.

I have not seen the film in many many years, but I remember that, perfect scene.

Will be doing a re-watch of the Quadrilogy one of these days..
