For the price, this is a really nice figure. If Hot Toys wasn't coming out with their version, then I would jump on it.

Does anyone feel like it has a tonner or mego feel to it. It's like those companies helped Mattel make this.

Let the HT look superior on it's own merits. There's no need to ____ talk a mass market $60 Mattel 12" figure to pedestal HT's eventual release.

$60 for a mass market figure? damn, how times have changed. My parents would never have bought me something like that even at that price from way back.

Given the NECA, Mezco and McFarlane kiddie garbage retails for $20-$30, $60 for that Superman isn't bad at all.
