Figures have been given wrong names in the past, so this might be no different.

Everyone wanted HT to rerelease a T-800 and this is basically that. And now you're complaining about it?! :lol

honeslty, i think either bale mispoke, or they scrubbed the 700 concept and made alterations to the dialogue....post toy designs. after all, remember the production chart with the 600, 700, marcus, 800? it did exist in someone's mind for the movie at some point.

I think people are trying to figure out if there was an actual T-700 used in the movie production or if it's just a design made up by HT, which I don't think is the case because there are other toy/collectible companies that are making a T-700 figure with the same kind of design (i.e. a basic T-800 structure with rough texture).

The elusive T-700 is out there, people, somewhere.

i think the t-700 did make an appearance

wasnt the 700 the one in the beginning of the movie, the one that waws trying to kill connor after the helicopter crashed. i think the 700 even took his shoe off

nope, that's a 600. he's got the abundance of joint lines in the forehead area and the big pipe like forearms.

I was watching for a T-700 and am pretty sure I never saw one.

Even the one in the factory didn't seem to have the same level of pitting/roughness as the HT. And of course the Arnie was chromed.

I did notice that the endo skulls found in the Skynet factory had silver/metallic colored teeth. All of the T-800's had human colored/off-white teeth, right?

i think so...the skulls in the factory had metal teeth from all the googles i can find. the 800's had real or synth teeth depending on how creepy your perception is.....

I am fairly sure all the Terminators on the factory line are T-700, the T-800, as far as I know, there is only the one in the movie, as it is a fresh design, it is not on the assembly line yet.

I'm going in the next hour. I'll pay attention for us all if there are any T-700s. Mostly, rough look and metal teeth are the things to watch for right?

Could the 700 be the same as an 800, but it's designed to operate without the skin covering?

Which makes no sense, because they added the skin later on..since not all T-800's had the skin on them...you would think they added that later.

I don't think anyone's actually sure. This is the only appearance of the T-700 in any form in connection with the film production:

The image above is a far cry from what collectibles companies like Hot Toys and Playmates has produced, which has ended up looking like a rough textured T-800 with metal teeth.

I'm thinking the exact same, Dave. All the Endoskeletons (that aren't the T-600) found in the Skynet factory had the rough texture and metal teeth.

From my understanding the only difference between the T-700 & 800 is that T-700 is a grey gun metal colour and the T-800 is chrome... In the Four-Minute Preview Marcus takes the jaw of a T-700!

Playmates and Hot Toys mislabled the T-700. If you have seen the film, you should know that the figures labeled T-700 both by Hot Toys and Playmates is actually the battle damaged T-R.I.P (Resistance Infiltraitor Prototype)/ T-800 after having molten steel? on it, then having a cold liquid coolant sprayed on it. Once you see the film, you'll catch on

Bingo, you just beat me to it. Read the spoiler people.

Um NO, it's not.
The Endo's hanging around in the factory and the heads lying around have a ROUGH TEXTURE.

The T-800 that fights John is smooth chrome!
