Yeah, it worked on the 800 endo because the upper leg was a beam with no back to it, but the design of the 600 leg doesn't allow for the proper position or function of that piston.
This leads me to believe that the Winston/Cameron connection really was the reason Winston Studios ever made it. The first big movie made without Stan's involvement all the way through, and this is the kind of nonsensical crap we get. Stuff like this is so hard to see past when I want to believe in a character in a story. Dammit, the 600 design is just so stupid
None of it makes any sense.
It's too big and out of proportion to be human, so what's the point of it wearing a rubber mask?
The feet are too big to fit inside any human sized shoes.
Why does it have teeth if it's supposed to wear a rubber mask? Even if it does speak, anybody close enough to see teeth is going to be able to tell it's a rubber mask.
Despite the inefficiency of the humanoid design, the only thing the 600 would be good for is sweep and clear, especially since it aint sneaking up to anybody hoisting a minigun with one hand.
If the rest of it is larger, why is the head still human sized? Why does it even need to look like a skull if there is never any real flesh over it? Laing who?
When I get my 600s, I'm going to pretend they are a version of the T-70 from the T2 3-D thing.
