Winner winner chicken dinner :wink1:

Seriously, dude, you're right there with us. You're just closer to the front of the chow line than we are. None of us are eating though.

I've had him on flex since September. It's going to be nearly a year once he finally ships.

Heard that, but on a happier note im guaranteed the sideshow edition with extra empty cowl. Thats worth this 6 month odd wait... Or thats what i keep telling myself lol

Yes, it is a nice perk. It's been so long that I forgot that was even part of the deal. Glad you're staying optimistic :)

I don't feel nearly as bad anymore lol. I hope he is up to your satisfaction when you finally get him. Helluva long wait bro :slap

This doesn't seem big on the market right now, can't find people sellin these..

I think everyone has already sold them on preorders lol even sites like big bad toy store and modelzone etc

Yeah. The EX has been long gone from SSC. Despite the issues the proto has, HTxNolan-Batman combo sells well.

People are just trying to secure an order in the hope that HT will fix the figure. I predict a lot of cancellations if/when the production figure is released and looks just like the proto, lol.

In terms of the face plates iv already had words with a professional sculpter and painter to make the "shouting" faceplate a battle damaged look with some blood application etc and even a bit of stubble. Will make a great custom!!!!

Hmmm, you may be right. I've not taken that possibility into account as cancelling of pre-orders is not a welcome option given by most dealers here in our country.

I really envy the customers rights that US residents enjoy.

August for me. I hope this would turn out well worth the wait (and every dollar spent).

I hope so too. That's sort of the issue for me. I'm hoping that we are just blown away by in-hand pics and they've made some changes to make him look better than a bigger DX12. The accessories are great but he's gotta look amazing. Hoping those delays have been worth it for us.

It doesn't feel that long really. Mostly because so many other figures have come in and there's been so little hype about this guy. But yea nearly a year is rough for any PO but that's kind of becoming standard for many of the DC and Marvel figures these days.

I'm sure it will, but it's sad that a $500 figure needs custom work to look good. There should be decent face plates out of the box. Anyway, really curious to see the in-hand pics and see if there is any improvement.

Yes we can only wait but whether the face plates are amazingly accurate or not, since i saw the 1989 1/6 Batman faceplate with blood etc i thought it gives the figure such a different feel and depth. Even though the suit isnt damaged, an injured faceplate gives you alot more of a rough look in a pose. Plus iv never liked the open mouth "where are they!?!?!?!" Faceplate lol dosnt matter how accurate they produce it.

I hear you 100%. Most of my anticipation is from the fact that i've gone all of this time without a DX12. I made a conscious decision to collect only 1/4. So, the last Dark Knight Batman I had was a DX02.. My OCD has harassed me everyday having to look at Enterbay Bats without his new suit counterpart.

The only thing with DX09 is the fact that the bloody faceplate made sense. It really gave the figure even more to offer. It was also movie accurate. A bloody faceplate for this or any of the Dark Knight Trilogy Batman figures is interesting but not movie accurate. I like the idea but again, my OCD would haunt me until it was fixed.

Lol yes its not movie accurate. But as i dont like that faceplate to begin with, customising it wouldnt really hurt me. Plus the guy doing it is a ****ing genius. He painted a sculpt for the 1/6 1989 Joker from the museum scene where Vicki Vale shots water in his face and his makeup starts running, i have to say it was better than some official headsculpt paint apps that iv seen. And on top of that i will have 2 movie accurate faceplates left that i actually like :)

It's been a long wait so far...I've been tussling with the 1/4 vs 1/6 question. It's a difficult one for sure...collecting quarters is beginning to test my patience. (But, if I go 1/6...I've got so much catching up to do, and the prices for some of the older releases are just crazy.)

Plus, I stand by the idea that I'd prefer to look at ten quarter scale figs than 20 or so sixth scale ones.

but...I really, need to see some pics of this guy before making a decision. No way can I justify £250 on the 1/6. I'll stick with the EB if this guy ends up looking like nothing more than a blown up sixth.

I'm sitting on enough cash for a fig...and it's burning a serious hole through my pocket and brain!

Its better if you buy this because after 6-12 months if you dont like it, the price will only go up so it will be in your favour :)

I was just watching Batman Begins and the sculpt for this figure really looks accurately like Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne. Look at his face in the 2-3 minute scene from after Ra's Al Ghul's base blows up and Bruce meets Alfred on the plane. Exact match!!!
