Besides lighting and paint (probably), precisely what is different between these two?

To me it's mostly the eyes that are the biggest difference. I know I didn't get the lighting right on mine. But you can still tell.

That looks no where near the same.


There is one obvious difference

The mouth is open on the final product where as on the proto the mouth is pretty much closed.


Anyway I think we should just talk about the 1/4 scale Batman figure we are getting, because debating about this will solve nothing and only cause arguments.

If you want to believe it is the same that is fine, but I think we should stop talking about this as there will never be resolution to this topic.

But even you say that it's the same. Not a different sculpt.

What is the magical event that made it so different in your eyes? Other than the inevitable softening and weaker paint.

Yeah, those look the same to me. With the possible exception of the face plate.

No I am the one who is not 100% sure there is a difference. I most likely believe it is different but I would not bet my life on it that it is.

Here is a better pic, no offense but yours is too blurry. I guess because you had to zoom up on it though, so that could not be avoided.

Well you had to so you could try and get a good equal size comparison pic.

I just had to show the image I saw that made me question if it was the same one as one at SDCC because you can clearly see the eyes now. At SDCC they looked more deep set.
