Ok thanks, the cowl and faceplate look a bit different, like he doesn't look as sour as the MMS71 figure. :dunno

I saw it as buy it now and jumped on it, I figured originally bbts had it for 4-430 plus 20 shipping. So I got the t800 for that price, then when I checked places like mid town comics they originally wanted 500 for the t800 so I say I got a pretty descent deal

You didn't get it for a decent deal you got it for an amazing deal, well done! :clap

If you want a good price on the Enterbay Batman 1/4 scale figure, wait until Thanksgiving weekend when BBTS has their huge sale. A few years ago I bought the Hot Toys 1/6Tumbler and the 1/6 Batpod, both for $600 shipped. I think that weekend they usually have 25% off and I understand they have a boatload of the Enterbay's in stock. Must not be selling to well.

I think you replied to the wrong person man, it was Giantqtipz who wants the EB Batman. TBH I can't see BBTS lowering it much more than $374.99 though, that to me is already a steal. :eek

Thanks for the advice though, I keep that in mind if I want something from BBTS. ;)

Thanks guys :)

I think Ill buy EB Batman after I get my hands on the QS001. Gotta take it easy on my wallet. Im gonna sell my dx12 1/6 soon to partially fund the QS001.

The coming soon picture doesn't look any different :dunno

if anything it's exactly the same just under different lighting.

From the size of it in the picture what exactly are you seeing that's different because all i can really make out is the overall detail no specifics

The production will be slightly worse than the proto anyway

What the hell are you girls talking about? :lol In almost every circumstance the prototype is going to look a tad better, because it's the PROTOTYPE! The dx12 headsculpt looks great. What do you think changed so drastically( from prototype to the final product) for you to call it "one of HT worst sculpts" :dunno

The hair was drastically changed and now it looks like spaghetti and the paint on the hair and eyes aren't as dark, but it still is a good sculpt :dunno

GUYS , seriously if you ever found this TDKR one fourth scale available online and less than $500 ,and if you are fan of nolan trilogy and batman , dont even hesitate..BUY IT RIGHT NOW !! as it is almost sold out AND OUT OF STOCK everywhere !!

I always hesitate to collect hot toys figure as i found it hard to put $200 in buying one of them..But when i saw this beauty at SDCC 2013 , believe me or not, whether it was hot toys or not , i KNOW that this is the figure that i need right now !!

It will be my first hot toys and might be the last , but i know that this is the one !!

No way dude, if u want that batman get it, the headsculpts alone are incredible, the only thing I would suggest is a custom cape. The rubber suit Is very high quality and has a super smooth finish.

I have the enterbay begins and joker. I can look at them for hours, just brought the t800 clean version so I can appreciate it before the bd. just incredible pieces.

I don't trust hot toys and "rubber suits" any more.
:exactly:After going through the DX02 fiasco and the 2011 Toy Fair crap figure,i was done with HT rubber suit figures until now!The 1/4 TDK figure looks INCREDIBLE!:clap Yes,it doesn't match up to the EB headsculpt but it more than makes up for it with the rest of what it offers!

Can't wait for this figure, I'm gonna have him on the left and the enterbay on the right with enterbay joker in the middle :) can just imagine the awesome set up! Hope hot toys does bane in 1/4
:slapYOU STOLE MY IDEA!!!:rotfl

At least you've got an enterbay joker!! I missed the party on that one!! I'm hoping HT does a 1/4 joker.

1/4 figures are far better than 1/6 scale ones as there are more accurate..just compare 1/4 batman with the 1/6 batman dx 12..the dx 12 look so childish comparing to the 1/4

That does look good but the person who took to the photo obviously strategically took it to cover the gap between the chin/neck.

It's just as bad as the DX12 in that respect

Let me find a picture

As you can see in the background. The profile is terrible

Totally unavoidable if you want to be able to bow the head.

I suppose when the head is tilted down more the gap decreases too

:exactly:

What did the prototype DX12 head look like?

That's not the proto. That's what you own.

After multiple attempts at trying to explain the prototype vs production process on this site, I am thoroughly convinced that most collectors don't understand it nor do they care to even begin to understand it.

This. .
