Hot Toys TDKR: 1/4th scale Batman [QS001] - Full Reveal & Specs

Was joking my friend. Just saying the hype of this figure won't stop

Yeah I know I have never seen anything like it.

Well, the price was high from the start, then. Weird when you see most 1/6 take at least $200 from scalpers when released, that still seems to be in the $100 ballpark.

Yes it was and I think that is the reason why the prices on ebay for this figure are just insane.

I was just looking around the web this morning and on Evilbay the prices are coming way down and this figure, but I was looking at BBTS website and they are selling, or trying to sell three DX 12's, one at $519.99 sealed and a couple more opened at $600.00! WTF? Does this mean then when their stock of the 1/4 scales come in then the price will be through the roof? I have one of the 1/4 scale Batman preordered through them, but I am thinking of next month ordering from them the Enterbay 1/4 Bats around Thanksgiving to get it for around $100 off their price when they have their big sale.

They usually every year around Thanksgiving have a sale that is sometimes 25-40% off. One year I got the Hot Toys Batpod and the 1/6 tumbler, both for $575.00!

Just had to say, loving that Gouki/Akuma you have by your desk.

And I love my 1/4 Batman, in fact so much that it has pretty much swayed me to just stick with 1/4 collecting (Picking the Man of Steel Ex, and Crow in 1/6 as HT may not make 1/4 versions of them)

I'm now a 100% fan of the Bale sculpt, so i will probably pose
him HK scene, with cowl in hand.

Got my Exclusive yesterday off of my waitlist conversion.

I noticed that the tape on the figure box had been sliced opened and both the sonar head and the EMP gun were missing the plastic battery tab. They both light up ok and I didn't notice any issues with the figure or the accessories but now I am concerned that it was a return and Sideshow either replaced something and resold it as a new item or maybe checked them before shipping. I haven't seen any issues with the lights though.

Think I will send them an e-mail with my concerns and see what they say.

If the figure is undamaged and works fine why would you waste Sideshow's time by sending some bs email? What would you accomplish by that?

Mine comes in tomorrow! After all the pictures seen, I'm sure I'll love it even more in hand. Hopefully the next 1/4 figure from Hot Toys is the MK7. Would love to have them side by side.
