MAGnificent photos! Do you plan to do any modding?

Edit-Just saw your video. Fantastic! :clap

Willing to help another freak out, getting an extra one of these next week and willing to sell it for $500+shipping! I'm in Cali and sales tax is $35 so I'm selling it for what it'll cost me. PM if interested.

Had mine a couple of weeks and just managed to have a little play with it and here's some size comparisons

My issues with it are the cuffs of the glove are too big and if it wasn't so expensive I would consider trimming them off and the cape. I don't have a problem with the clips I got them to work fine but the material is rubbish and annoys the hell out of me that they go to certain length on parts of the figure and with an important part such as the cape they give us this s@!t material. It hangs horrible it feels horrible and it looks horrible. I don't like the cape!

Is there anything else you don't like about this figure other than the proportions? I have seen videos of this figure on you tube and the cowl doesn't look as realistic as Enterbays. Does the suit of this figure really look more toyish at this scale?

I would say, all of the above to be honest.

I hate to say it, but in-hand it gives me the feel of a large scale Mattel figure. You can sell it with good lighting, but it's still there.

Cape installation, boots, working the suit, working the knee pads, etc. Thanks.

Cool. :)

On mine, the only futzing technique I did was removing the boots and turning the leg armour so the knee pads sit better. I tried pushing down the chest plate, but it looks like I'll need heat. I can't be arsed unless it bothers me, which it doesn't at this point.

You might just need to use more force. Push shirt up, push chest down.

Was hard To put off the boots, how can we do ?

I had to use a fair bit of force and some turning. They are on some long, tight fitting ankle pegs. All I can say is pull harder than you think you need to.

You can see me pull the boot off in the video. My arm is in the way, but honestly, I just yank it off.

Maybe because this is my first Hot Toys Batman figure, but I think he’s amazing.

Just sell your figure already.

I figured I'd get flamed for that comment. I'm not trolling though.

I understand why this figure is better than a large scale Mattel figure, but that's really what it makes me think of.

Perhaps, I just really prefer 1/6 as a scale. :dunno

I dont have one yet, but the fact that Maglor doesnt like it worries me lol...

Just trust your own eyes. If the pro shot pics are amazing to you, chances are it will be amazing to you in person. If there are things that bug you about the pics, it will be just as bad in person.

For me, even the most heavily modded DX12 doesn't stand even a slight chance against this one. We all see things in our own way.

Even when I disagree with you I usually respect your comments as they are constructive and try to be helpful.
This one doesn't really fall in that category IMO.
I could be wrong but it seems you are still on the fence about this figure and you may be over thinking things a little.
Or, maybe you really prefer 1/6 scale...

I feel the same. I still like my lightly modded dx12. But when I look at the qs001 then look over at the dx12. There is no comparison IMO. The qs is far superior in my eyes.

One example for that reason is. When I take pics of my dx its really hard to get a good picture of it and make it look really good. But I can take a quick pic of my qs. And it looks great in almost any light and any angle.

I only own the DX 12, but based on pics I've seen, the only improvement the QS has over it is the headsculpts, faceplates, details on the sticky bomb gun, and the radiation device that pops out of the belt. When I see pics, if there isn't something in them for height comparison, I literally don't see a difference between it and the best 1/6 figure out there.

But, it's a $500, 1/4 scale figure. It should be better.

I still think Hot Toys would be capable of offering that head, faceplates and the Bale sculpt in 1/6 scale. The DX 12 and QS were announced at roughly the same time. If they hadn't rushed the DX 12 out so fast, I would have been curious to see what we would have gotten instead.
