I dig it and it gives me hopes that the PF will turn out great as long as they don't do a stupid pose like the Reeve PF. This character along with many others should have an impressive museum pose and not some "what if" dynamic pose IMO

agreed! :hi5: plus I think they will/should compliment each other very well. I think the difference between this HT 1/4 piece will be too much to appropriately display it together with the SS PF. but then again HT could churn out a 1/4 Joker and then it would a be a battle on which to get :panic:
I can't think of a PF without a stupid pose :lol maybe their recent Nate drake.

ya, have to wait and see what the SSC PFs will look like. Im 100% getting both the Joker and if they do Batman. They will be my first ever PFs. But i do hope HTs does a 1/4 Joker and that would be their final Heath Joker they need to do :)

I think they will make the compliment to the QS001...

I think it would be good if Hot Toys made a 1/4 one because the EB one looks weird (proportion wise) which is especially noticeable when the figure just has the interrogation outfit on. Plus I am sure the quality of Hot Toys clothing would be better to and I would like to have a 1/4 Joker in the interrogation outfit.

What type of museum pose would u have in mind? :huh

something not like this :lol

I wish I wasn't a conservative newbie collector 2 years ago, and PO'd 2 of these -- one to use for a straight trade with an 89 Batmobile.

LOL, would someone have traded though? The Batmobile is worth a lot more. I just saw one at a local store for $580, tempting to get it, but I'm guessing there will be tax....

Actually there was a trade like that which happened a few days ago at our local Buy/Sell/Thread, and that's what made me write my post :lol . Price of MISB 89 Batmobiles here have gone down significantly, from retailers to owners who bought it but have never displayed it. The lowest offers are at $570. QS001 on the other hand, seems to be one of the sought-after figures here (I assume it was because of the lack of faith that the figure would turn out great, not too many pre-ordered), and the regular version can be had for a minimum of $550.

Apart from size/space issues, there's not as much 89 Batman fans here as there are who dig Nolan Batman and I see that as one major factor behind the slow sales of this item. Even DX09 can be bought here brand new for below $200, DX 08 for $150, and DX14 are being given away as raffle prizes :lol

DX09 BNIB for under 200? Where do I find these people selling it. hahah

So I finally set-up my 1/4 Batman and like most was blown away. It's defiantly an attention grabber. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

:lol

Can the human body even do a pose like that? It looks like his Back or is right leg/femur is broken? Like the right femur bone looks like it is going beyond the limits of articulation by nearly joining to the left leg. :dunno

No but seriously what pose did u have in mind? Like for example the poster in the pic below? :huh

I don't have anything in particular in mind. just not something crazy/stupid
First time I've seen that superman pose. :lol ridiculous. Is there actually a PF with a good pose?
Comic/other:
Cyclops
Gambit
Superman
Harely Quinn
Joker
Poison Ivy
Master Chief
Nathan Drake

Movie:
FA Cap
T1 & T2 T800
MOS (IMO)
Jack Sparrow (first)
Babydoll

Just to name a few :wink1:

^ The ones where they don't try to do too much with it...
^^1000x this!

Like the Keaton PF is a good example. Didin't actually happen in the movie but it's a great pose

I have on hand three of these 1/4 scale Batman figures. One regular and two Special Editions. I tried forever on evilbay to sell these and marked them down to even $499 and not one person bid, or even made an offer on them! I have three because of a previous store credit that I had to burn up and got three when these came out. Now they are collecting dust in my closet. When I had multiples of the DX 02 and DX12 I could move them without blinking an eye!
